Daniel went to the RAF. I think the older boys work in fast food places or they used to.

Millie will be a mum of two soon so won't be working for a while. Katie works in a nursery. Chloe and maybe luke work at the pie shop.

MinnieJackson · 26/01/2022 07:17

@BlondeshavemorefunThe top three boys work at the bakery, I think Millie did have a job at McDonald's before she had Ophelia and Katie works in a nursery.

RevolvingPivot · 27/01/2022 17:42

Why don't they get the older ones to take their own washing down (and up) to the kitchen then Sue only has to take the little kids washing from the top floor.

RevolvingPivot · 27/01/2022 18:01

Plus not finished this episode yet so not sure who has it but I think Katie and Aimee should have shared Chloes room.

The older children probably do take their laundry downstairs but that wouldn't make for the image they often try and portray which is that Sue does everything. It's yet another example of how the show is staged, at this stage I'd be sceptical any of it was actually real, I'm sure Eastenders or Corrie are less scripted.

I keep pausing it to get things done.

Just up to the bit where Daniel came home. My Husband has been in the military coming up to 20 years. I can't believe he's home already.

Yes that would make more sense. They need to sort out all of the bedrooms. They have the older kids in their own rooms (fair enough) but they are in bigger rooms than the ones sharing Confused

purpleme12 · 28/01/2022 10:47

Yes it's strange isn't it
The ones sharing should have a bigger room

MrsMoastyToasty · 28/01/2022 11:44

I think Noel should sleep in the vacated bedroom.

My husband has just retired after 35yrs and DS1 is coming up for 8. We knew he wouldn’t last. His mother has spoon fed him for far too long. He can’t even put a wash on so there was no way he was going to do block jobs.

The funny thing about this is that they covered this story line last series and he was home after 2 weeks. He was absolutely not coming back when they showed him coming up the street with his case. He was shown in bed in last weeks episode and he was in the pie shop at the beginning of this weeks.

The whole program is a sham. They take people for idiots just as they do with their “childhood sweethearts” and “we don’t claim benefits” rubbish. Their fans are completely brainwashed. I wonder how they will feel when Millie has her baby in the next couple of weeks because they still don’t believe it despite her being very obviously, heavily pregnant on recent vlogs.

Yes! And then the careful reciting of his lines "I really missed my family" "I'm so pleased to be home" when he'd clearly been back for weeks.

purpleme12 · 28/01/2022 13:54

Yes it just seems a bit sickly sweet really when they come out with the things like that

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/01/2022 14:58

Was interesting to see the floor plan and how the bedroom space is shared and where kids sleep

So Chloe was with Jake 7mths and moved in together. This was lady year summer time?

Now is pregnant in real time so been with Jake about a year and preg

Yet said few months ago she didn’t want that. Wonder why the change of mind

Layout of house was interesting but do they only have 1 bathroom?

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/01/2022 20:55

Think toilet on every floor and 2 bathrooms

BedknobsNoBroomsticks · 29/01/2022 02:08

They don't seem very safety conscious. They are forever giving tours of their home. I am surprised that they haven't been burgled.

They have a toilet or bathroom on every floor so that clip of them all lined up outside a bathroom was a load of rubbish. Kids don't need a shower/bath every day so as long as there is somewhere with a sink they will be able to have a quick wash and brush their teeth.

woodhill · 29/01/2022 10:31

You never see any clutter like towels, shoes or coats or toys , where does it all go?

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/01/2022 10:51

Think in hall/door entrance storage boxes like aka

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 29/01/2022 10:51

IKEA

Honestly it almost all ends up in skips judging by what they have shown in the past.

I'm a right geek. I rewound those bits about 5 times to try to process it all lol. Can't believe the size of Jacks room (huge) and then the two middle boys. (Was it Max and Josh? - tiny)

I thought that. Although there would still be a queue as 9 people are each top floor and 4 in the basement?
Blurp · 31/01/2022 09:44

The whole house layout is bonkers! The sensible thing would be to encourage the older ones to move out (even buy a second house and then let them live in it). Or divide up the big rooms with room dividers.

Or even reconfigure the place - maybe convert a medium-sized room to a sort of "dorm" with 4 or so kids in it, and then have another room that they can use as their "space" to hang out, or for wardrobes etc. Anything to even it out a bit!

The older ones shouldn't have big rooms just because they pay rent; they can still share, or have a smaller room - if they don't like it, they can move out.

Did someone say they only have one exterior door as well? No back door? That's a massive fire hazard if so. But the whole house layout would make it really tricky to get everyone out in an emergency, especially as they never seem to know who's sleeping where.
