Everything about Aiden gave me the biggest ick. A controlling, passive aggressive, narc, man child. At least Big was honest about who he was and his limitations and went on the be a good husband.

Agree with this. I never understood th love for Aidan.
And Che and Miranda can both stay wherever they disappeared to at the end of the last episode. Both equally unbearable. They (presumably Cynthia Nixon herself) ruined Miranda's character by making her appear like she was eighty years old and had lived in the same small town all her life.

I also disliked Che! And her stand-up routine was so unfunny. Agree about the changes in Miranda not being true to the original character.

But I can't see what is wrong with Aidan? He's quite attractive imo. I never really saw what the Big deal was, and why Carrie moped after him for so many series. He messed her around constantly. And now we know what we know about the actor, well.... Yuck.

I wasn't fond of Aidan either. Too rigid in his thinking. He and Carrie had nothing in common (which was the point of the relationship).

I would assume his return has been oversold by the programme makers and he's actually appearing as a cameo, as the last thing we need is a re-run of Carrie vacillating between Aidan and Big.

Yeah she totally changed her personality,but that was the actress,s influence ,I didn't mind her being gay ,even though in a very early episode of SATC, when she was set uo.with a lesbian ,she was adamant she was straight ,I understand some people may not come out untill.much later in life ,but I don't think Miranda would have treated Steve so.badly and she certainly wouldn't have had sex in Carrie, kitchen.

Che and Miranda are both dreadful characters, and I'm still mentally scarred from that kitchen sex scene. But I'm kind of glad that they're coming back, just for the whole load of new memes we're going to get.

I love seeing characters from Sex And The City in this show, so I'm really looking forward to Aidan's return. I like him and Carrie together too - although I personally always thought she should have ended up with Petrovsky, I thought they could have been perfect together.

PLEASE could a programme have a nonbinary character who is LIKEABLE?? Very few viewers are against the sensuality- it's the being a worthy arsehole that people hate.

I agree that they were suited, because Carrie was awful too! Although not excusing the part where he slapped her of course, that wasn’t ok.

No, the news broke about Chris Noth after the series had filmed. If they wanted to airbrush him out it would have been pretty easy to have Big die before the season began. Would have been better for Peloton too!

Agree with you on SJP ageing, I had actually forgotten about Charlotte's lips until now. Hope she has managed to get them sorted out for this season.
