God, I love this series. Feel like I've only just picked up on Cathy's pointed gratuitous insult to Eric in each episode. The actor who plays Eric should surely be cast as Alex Salmond in some future drama.

Three episodes were aired before Christmas (two episodes and a Christmas special) and that was all that they’d been able to film due to restrictions and Joy McAvoy’s baby being born midway through the filming schedule.
They’re on iPlayer.

Saw on Instagram a few days ago that the cast had been in London for a read through for season six.

I'm not sure I've been watching them in the correct order as Beth's sons BF was Gordon , then switched to Jazz, now back to Gordon so I'm a bit confused 😕 oi

Great episode although I get increasingly annoyed with Cathy now. She just goes beyond funny now.

Jazz was at the beginning then Gordon in later series. I love Gordon.

Cathy's character is so bad, and without any likeable qualities, that you'd barricade the door if you saw her coming up the path. It's too unbelievable that they'd put up with her constant meanness. Once she started tearing down the new neighbours' porch with the JCB it had gone too far.

Cathy is awful and she has Colin dancing to her every tune. I loved Alan's brother, they were so alike. Such a great show.

I'd have definitely moved away from Cathy AND Christine!
I was surprised Christine didn't invite herself to the wedding, we all know she likes a bit of free food and drink!

I do find Christine very annoying but then I find myself getting a bit bored in the scenes without her. She does add something to the storyline.

I watched the newly released episodes last night. Loved Alan and his grunty brother. Loved Colin trying to impress Michelle with his tight t-shirt and his sit ups!
