So glad this is back! Didnt even know until i saw a recorded episode this morning. Not loving Beths new hair though

I think Christine is the worst of them all, she's a parasite. Yes, worse even than Eric and Cathy with their self absorption. I feel some pity for them, not for Christine.

I just love it when Christine mutters at Colin (ya wee arsehole)

Love Christine! Reminds me of going to my Granny’s. She is a mixture of all her neighbours. I live in England but half my family are Scottish, and my dad and Gran both passed away, so the sense of humour and patter just remind me of them.

I've just started watching this again I think the actor who plays Colin is a master of pretending to be drunk - reminds me of all my uncles at family weddings 🤣

The guy who plays Colin is brilliant..
Up there with Paul Kaye for drunk acting..

I can’t believe that the actor for Colin looks like he has barely changed from when he was on tv in the 80s !

The running joke is poor put upon Beth it wouldn’t be the same if she suddenly turned nasty, she has lost a lot of weight and not keen on the new hair she had lovely shiny hair before!

Watched this last night with DD and for the first time wondered if it's run it's course?

Just found all the characters so annoying and hateful (apart from Beth and Ian obvs). I know that that's kind of the whole point but I'm beginning to feel that the joke has finally worn too thin. I thought that when they brought in the young couple for the last series it might shake things up but now it's gone back to Cathy and Colin just being infuriating and even I would be telling them to F Off and I am very mild mannered IRL.

It's a shame because it used to be so good .

There are still a few good jokes in there. Gordon’s character seems to have changed a bit. I miss jazz, he was so lovely

I sometimes think back to the pilot episode and so much was made of Beth and Eric’s soldier son and now he doesn’t exist!

I couldn't stop laughing at 'made with a good ham bone'. My Scots granny and mum used to say that. It's really spot on observational humour.

I really wanted a bowl of my mum’s soup after watching it. Every Scottish granny has a signature soup 🤣

I follow Arabella Weir on Instagram and she posted earlier in the year that they were filming but her hair was in it’s usual bob in more recent photos that she’s posted.

I've just looked at her Insta page. She looks like Beth's glam London cousin!

Must be a wig. Can't see anyone willingly submitting to that haircut!

I see what everyone else means. Just watched the first two episodes and they were a bit blah, especially the second. For me Cath's character completely jumped the shark in the last series when she got in the JCB and started tearing down the porch of the pretty new neighbour. She's all bitch now and doesn't have an endearing side that would prevent me from punching her square in the nose.

And Gordon is sooo boring. I'm in agreement with them on that
