It literally is only air resistance stopping it doing so.

I don't think a feather and bowling ball are comparable to two humans.
The feather is very large compared to its weight so air resistance will have a disproportionate effect.
The larger human will have greater mass but also slightly greater drag as they will have a larger surface area.
I'm guessing the greater mass will have more effect than the slightly greater drag.

The point is the mass has no affect on how fast something falls. g is a constant.

Yes but then you can think about the way you fall too what if one person went straight down head first and the other spread eagle?
