@DevilWaresPrada

I'm fascinated by the "heavy person and a light person falling off a building, which will hit the ground first" debate. I've tried googling but can't find a definitive answer. Anyone?
Have you watched the Brian coz drop a feather and a bowling ball at the same time?

It literally is only air resistance stopping it doing so.

This is an interesting read too.

Brian Cox

I don't think a feather and bowling ball are comparable to two humans.
The feather is very large compared to its weight so air resistance will have a disproportionate effect.
The larger human will have greater mass but also slightly greater drag as they will have a larger surface area.
I'm guessing the greater mass will have more effect than the slightly greater drag.

The point is the mass has no affect on how fast something falls. g is a constant.

Yes, but the air resistance/drag is greater on a larger object than a smaller object.

Yes but then you can think about the way you fall too what if one person went straight down head first and the other spread eagle?

The last comment on here is mine saying 'it was quite unsatisfying' 🤣

I've just watched S1 & was hoping for Shaw to be sacked!

Loathsome character.

Matthews was bloody horrible but it was OK because it was just his way & harmless bantz!🙄
