Dc sarah Collins (Gemma whelan) and dc Steve Bradshaw investigate. Deaths of a long serving police officer and teenager girl when they fall to their deaths from a London tower block

Left alone on the roof are a 5yr boy and a rookie officer Lizzie, who then disappears

Yes, I meant the plot etc gets progressively worse… but hopefully it’s just my take on it and others may enjoy it!

Anyone else not understanding why Irish guy wasn't interviewed - he was a key witness!

I'm watching episode 3 just now. Shaw is an intolerable shit and I'm only watching to the end in the hope he gets his comeuppance

So all we've seen of DC Bradshaw is him being really nice and trying to help people and yet apparently he's a racist who stole a teenagers phone and shoved her off the tower

PC Matthews rather.

It was better than expected least we have reason why she was up the tower. I guess some people are racists but not to people they like “it’s ok you not like everyone else” sort thing in the police gang.

Why is Shaw covering up so much for Matthews? Can't work it out.

And why is Lizzie going along with it?

The phone thing from episode two is really (irrationally) pissing me off

Me! He was up on the roof with Lizzie and child so he must know what went on 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why wouldn't the DI just have binned the phone??

I've just had a look at the book it's based on on Amazon and Lizzie appears to be white in it which would be a completely different angle on the racism if it's two white police officers denying it.

@ChequerBoard I know, you'd think Shaw would just bin/destroy the phone.

I wonder if Lazlo is just a red herring or whether he actually has any relevance to the plot?

I thought Itv drama 😬, but thought Gemma Whelan 👍would swing it. I thought it was brilliant.
Also, the Irish ex hollyoaks guy normally gives me the boak but he will feature in my sexual fantasies going forward 😲. Sorry.

This is an enjoyable drama, hope the concluding episode tonight is just as good.

One thing made me laugh though when Shaw said casually to Lizzie that he heard she had a gun pointed at her like it wasn't that unusual. It would be all over the station !!

I'm enjoying it.... I like how we get the flashbacks telling the story

I liked it, well directed and set out as a story, flashbacks clearly identified as such, good performances from the cast etc.

However, having watched it all, I'm quite troubled by the outcome and the messaging behind it. Not going to leave spoilers but will be interested to see what others think after seeing the final part.

Interesting that in the source book, Lizzie is white and therefore at least part of the racism storyline has been added for the TV version. Not sure how successfully that addition has been achieved, might have to go an read the book to compare.

I’ve watched all 3 and felt it got worse and didn’t really conclude.

Lots of little things I've picked up on like the other junior police officer referring to "all 3 of them being like his family" meaning Shaw, Lizzie and Matthews. Sarah questioned what he meant by the 3 of them as she assumed he was just talking about Lizzie and Matthews.

Shaw, the Irish cop wasn't on the roof. The 4 on the roof were the two cops Matthews and Lizzie, Farah and the boy.
