Dc sarah Collins (Gemma whelan) and dc Steve Bradshaw investigate. Deaths of a long serving police officer and teenager girl when they fall to their deaths from a London tower block

Left alone on the roof are a 5yr boy and a rookie officer Lizzie, who then disappears

Just watched on +1.
Enjoyed it very much.
Fingers crossed it doesn't fizzle out to nothing.

I'm hoping Emmett turns out to be some sort of double agent. Although he does play a good baddie. And there seems to be some relevance to the lingering shot on the rose tattoo on his arm. Or maybe my brain is second guessing everything 🤷🏻‍♀️

I liked it, I got the feeling that the police man who died wasn’t such a nice guy , and the young police woman who ran off is , or was , having an affair with the irish police man.

I’m watching pretty good not to confusing. I’m rolling eyes that so far both lead females have had scene when been in their bra… really in serious drama women just have to be getting dressed undressed as part of plot rolls eyes hard

And what about the Det. Inspector wandering around naked from the waist up chatting away on the phone and to his wife . Horrors !

I could be wrong but I thought Lizzie had a sleeveless t-shirt on.

I was just pointing out the older I get the more I notice women characters undressed no reason. Getting in bed having sex of course let’s see your bra and pants or naked all totally fine.

Police woman come aback from incident changes and takes phone call let’s have shots of her in bra and pants couldn’t do it after she was in jeans and T shirt. Same with lead officer lady just happens to be in police bathroom changing her shirt and standing there in her bra.

Man with top off from waist up not the same thing unless full body shot of him in his pants. Just think if its part story line of
Course but when it’s just eye candy for viewers just seems off in 2021. But hey I’m entitled to my opinion same as you.

I enjoyed it but couldn't work out why they kept calling Emmet Scanlan's character 'detective'? He was a uniformed inspector in charge of a uniform response team so shouldn't have been referred to as 'DI'.

Also hope he doesn't turn out to be a 'baddie'. It always spoils it for me when an actor always plays 'goodies' or 'baddies' as it affects the plot and tension.

Also wondering how Scanlan managed to do a locker search then get to the scene so quickly? Although maybe I'm being a bit picky. I would have thought if he was genuinely concerned about the welfare of his officer he'd have taken her & the boy off the roof asap and wouldn't have stayed there waiting.

Yeah, he definitely looked dodgy stood on the roof not getting his officer or the child away from the edge. Something has definitely gone on with the teenage girl and at least 2 of the police officers.

I thought it was a bit of a stretch from 'he signed out the locker master key' to he therefore must have 'searched those officers lockers'.

There was no evidence to say he had searched their lockers before heading to the scene. Surely he could just have said 'no, I just needed the master as I'd lost my key' or something.

Odd that he would just 'fess up to that?

I thought they had him on CCTV so he couldn't deny he'd been in the lockers 🤷🏻‍♀️

The only reason for master key is go in someone else’s. They could have done finger prints which would have confirmed then he’d be more trouble for lying plus he had reasonable excuse as the boss to check nothing dodgy “might harm their record”. Even though it more likely to be something for the case/plot to do with that family.

Won’t spoil anything other than to say, unfortunately, the episodes get progressively worse. Really enjoyed the first one, second was OK, third was meh.

Felt the same about Hillingdon Drive and Angela Black though.

I think she means the plot acting and story line rather than any tragic events. ITV have had many fan faired programme which start ok then by number 2/3 people give up.

Just had such high hopes for it after first episode and now not sure whether to waste any more of my time

Nooooooooo , I gave up on Hillingdon Drive and I've still got to catch up on Angela Black I really want to like this one, I hope it doesn't disappoint arrrrgh

No I think it was Lizzie's phone which he took from her locker.

He does have the dead girls phone as it shows the stickers on the back when she uses it earlier on. I think you can watch the full series on all4 but I don't know how to do that on my TV!
