I was almost due with DD2 when S4 finale aired and I cried for hours So I think Harrison saying he remembered just set off some sort of weird pregnancy flashback crying

Mmm was expecting something big @BitcherOfBlakiven think they was def the lamest episode yet tbh.

I'm finding it so frustrating to have to watch this one episode a week, like in ye olden days. I wanna binge watch the whole series damn it!

Has anyone watched last night's episode yet? Why did Kurt not realise something was up when it took his henchman so long (I mean, literally HOURS), to drive supposedly drive Dexter from town to the cabin? Where did he think they were? And why, when he thought they were en route, did he go and pick up Harrison, take him to the school, play baseball, etc? It didn't make any sense to me.

Yeah it was super weird! Why butter him up all day if all he wanted to do that at the end?! Surely he just could have called Harrison over later on in the day. @zafferana

I also find it a bit strange that Angela is piecing together all the evidence from Miami that the police there just overlooked for years.

I'm thinking Harrison is gunna kill Kurt. I'm not sure what end Angela will meet, she would need a lot of evidence and surely Dexter would just move on again?

I agree @LanieM87. Where is this cabin too? When Dexter followed Kurt and Podcast lady (can't remember her name), it seemed like a short drive out of town, but in this latest episode it seemed to be much further away. Dexter was already driving out there (and the truck was already en route to that destination before he jumped in the driver's seat), when Kurt and Harrison were sitting drinking whiskey and talking, then he had to cook the venison, they ate it, etc. The timeline of the whole episode was so messed up that I found it really distracting!

I thought the timeline of Dexter being chased in the woods was really odd. Went on for hours but Dexter kept his lead, despite being injured.

I also didn't understand why Deter didn't mow Kurt down at high speed then reverse back over him.

I've not watched the latest ep yet but it sounds interesting

That last episode..... how would a medical examiner miss a puncture wound on a neck?! It's all going a bit downhill for me.

I figure it’s because Dexter grew up in Miami, Harry was a well liked and respected cop, so they were all a bit blinkered. Plus he knew the areas well, stalked his victims properly. Which he hasn’t done this season.

The new people have no such history with him.

That was quite a touching dad/soon moment - bonding over psychotic tendencies.

I’m quite enjoying it. Better than I thought it would be after the first episode. Though not as good as old school Dexter. I too miss the old crew, and the Miami cool. And it is annoying me how quickly the cop
is working out that he is the bay harbour butcher. And then podcast girl is not stupid, she would have realised that old pointy beardy dude (remembering names is not my strong point) is a bloody wrongun, and she would have continued to do some of her own sleuthing surely? Instead she’s just skunk off. AND there were eleventy million missing girl pictures on the wall of the police station, so surely someone might have linked them to the missing girl now found DEAD ??!

I assumed two cabins

So now Dexter /Jim has to tell girlfriend that he tried to kill Harrison

Tho won’t his fingerprints be on the knife he used to kill henchman

Dexter looks like Jim Careys "Dumb and Dumber" character with the awful hair and he keeps doing a weird smile .

DH binge watched ALL OF BLOODY DEXTER, all series 1- this one over Christmas . It is not the most festive viewing but 100x better than when he watched Peaky Blinders one Christmas.

Cannot abide Debs , she needs her sweary potty mouth scrubbed with carbolic .

I enjoyed the juxtaposition of festive jumpers and songs with serial killing and trophies. The original Miami Dexter had a lot of that kind of humour in it.

The Harrison actor is brilliantly cast. He could easily be Michael C Hall’s son.

I hope that Batista will return in the final ep.

I love Debs My favourite line of hers is non sweary and I use it multiple times a week “I’d rather put out a campfire with my face”.

I’m frustrated that Kurts collection hasn’t been revealed. I knew he’d get Merry Fucking Kill woman, can’t even remember her name.

@GrandTheftWalrus freaky is what they are . Anyways I am disappointed with this season not enough killing!! The whole debs thing is fucking annoying. Not enough likeable charecters as we haven't got to know them and like them like previous seasons. They could have done this so much better.
Merry fucking kill should have gone out with more of a bang as well.
