I definitely enjoyed this episode more than this week, seems it will be a bit a slow burner story line wise. But I don't think that's a bad thing.

Definitely better than last week, but still a bit......😐

Not in the same league as the original (early) series... but still enjoyable enough... hopeful it'll warm up a bit as we go on...

Crikey it is awful, I don’t like Quinn at all now and I think his stripper Rescue story arc is season 7 ?
The decline is really noticeable when watching them all BTB

Oh okay! I'd forgotten about her, but that doesn't look much like a hostel. When that bit started I thought 'Right, this guy is the next one Dexter is going to off'.

So do we think Harrison is going to be a chip off the old block? Will Dexter have to train him up like Harry trained him up so he wouldn't get caught? Or will Dexter take the fall for one of Harrison's fuck ups?

So I've watched episode 2 now. Still not warming to it, the peripheral characters are fairly dull and - probably due to where it's set - it's shot in a way it's very gloomy (missing the bright Miami sun and Angels crazy shirts).

However my interest has been piqued by that poor girl whose obviously ended up in the lair of a maniac. I'm hoping because we're seeing quite a lot of her she may be saved from a dreadful fate .

I've always loved Deb but for some reason her ghost is irritating me.

I'm totally going to watch it all though

Absolutely can see that now - I love seeing Harry questioning Dexter and getting him in a tizz and doing the Dexter Frown
Also forgot how stunning LaGuerta is ‘she was a very colourful woman’ so sad when Angel said that about donating her clothes
Really enjoying the catch up (apart from S6)

I cannot recommend watching it again enough -I really hope you enjoy season 1-5 as much as I have , including season 2 Lila as she’s hilariously bad….but does not wholly detract from the plot/story really , Season 6 is just a bit silly with the Colin hanks split personality thing, I’m quite enjoying season 7 now with Hannah I was like you could hardly remember a thing so it’s quite fresh really 😊and I am convinced it will pay dividends on the build up to new blood 😊

It’s to me like you didn’t think you’d want to,watch it again until you do and then kick yourself for thinking that you didn’t want To watch it again as it’s so enjoyable and entertaining ….

Season 4 with the trinity killer was the best season imo.

I liked season 4 a lot the one with Mos Def (brother Sam) and Jimmy Smits as Prado and surprisingly (as it gets some stick) season 5 with Lumen, I thought Julia Stiles was brilliant as was Jonny Lee Miller as Jordan Chase He was a great Villian as was Isaak Sirko (Ray Stevenson) In Season 7, he was a well written character and he is a brilliant actor I’m reaching the final now on season 8 it’s been a journey I really could have left season 6 with Colin Hank’s I didn’t enjoy it at all.

I’m watching it on Sky/Now you could get a free weeks trial a month really cheaply on NOW tv or it is possibly on Netflix,perhaps a Netflix user could confirm as I don’t have it currently
