When she was in the bedroom with Ben asking him about Alex's phone he looked exactly like Damien from the Omen.

The scene where they went to bring them some of the leftover food was really wierd. Theresa and her husband were ridiculously awkward I don't know why they bothered going.

The scene where Theresa told him of her rape was just weird too. Where they were both just standing next to each other staring ahead and he made no effort for physical contact at all to recognise the impact of what she was saying. Just strange

It reminds me of We Need to Talk About Kevin. The book

I think this one falls into the category of series where I really don't care about any of the characters and won't be switching on again.

This was such a weird, stilted programme. It almost felt like it was in a foreign language and been dubbed in English as there was so little emotion involved. And everyone was so miserable, I liked Teresa's boyfriend's loud brother at the barbecue, at least he was jolly. The rest of them seemed depressed.

Slightly better episode so far tonight. Still a bit shit though.

Again, this must have been filmed during lockdown because everywhere is curiously empty.

Tidiest Head's office EVER. Not a pile of papers or files or a "Best Teacher" mug in sight.

It would be better if it was just a drama/ soap about everyone living in hollingtondrive.

Def better this week but still weird!! The acting is a bit ‘off’ and the mum of Alex just doesn’t fit with the husband somehow.

There is no way she would have definitely identified a person. She would have been far more vague and uncertain, knowing full well she could get an innocent man charged.

A very strange programme. Not to make light of the crime, but, with a few tweaks, it could almost be a comedy.

More daft stuff this week. Why Alex’s tablet wouldn’t have been examined by the police is beyond me.

The houses are like cardboard cutout McMansions. They just don't look lived in.
I keep thinking the younger sister is Michelle Fowler from Eastenders, and that the headteacher sister is a man in drag.

Helen's husband fancies the visiting friend. You heard it here first. Why else would that ridiculous doorstep conversation have taken place?

AMM has some sort of trauma going on. Probably caused by sister. If it's possible Helen's husband is Ben's dad then maybe Helen is aware and that's why she doesn't like Ben and has been causing trouble for years. Eg supporting but not really supporting AMM and obviously getting back at her husband by having affairs. All this and running a school too!

The visiting friend is Fraser's friend or maybe relation? He just popped up in this episode for no good reason.

I think I will keeping watching to see where it goes but oh my there are plot holes big enough to fall into!

Agree there was a weird vibe between school head's husband and the visiting brother of the BIL, may as well have had a 'closet gay' claxon over his head. Which I'm assume makes him much less likely to be Ben's dad/the rapist. But maybe not.

The whole eFit thing was utterly ridiculous as was the exact match of the results to the local school photographer.

I'm hoping that AMM and RS wouldn't have accepted the parts if it turns out to be as awful as we think it's going to be! The detective seems to be oversharing with AMM for some reason, maybe to trip her up, Also if Ben and Eva came across the body why wouldn't they have come home upset and crying instead of calmly getting in the car? Both seem very young to be so scheming.

Yes, and if they had been moving a body into the water, how were both so clean and dry when they were found in the woods by the bin?
