Totally agree. Hoping she has more expression in real life and it's poor writing/acting that causes it!

On a similar vein I love that Ziggy isn't as typically thin as other young women on soaps but always looks fab, knows who she is and is full of expression. She's definitely more beautiful to me than Chloe.

Exactly! I said Bella is much more beautiful and that Ziggy is stunning and has a great figure, he said Chloe is the best looking in the show 🙄

It was a very moving scene.

He is swiftly moving from one of my least favourite characters (like up there with Chloe!) to one of my favs. I hope he sticks around.

Yes, he is a classic Summer Bay redemption arc character, unlike Chloe! Writers: take note - the irony that they have two similar age characters, both reasonably new, one of whom they've completely succeeded with and the other a complete disaster.

Talking of moving Theo scenes, the moment which really got me was when Justin realised that when Theo had come back beaten up months ago (and had said that it was random guys trying to steal his car), it was actually Dimitri who had done it. And Justin's face when he realised what Theo must have actually gone through during that beating - not just the physical pain of it - just broke my heart because you could see how much it broke his heart.

I read that the storyline had to be adapted when Ada couldn't return to filming because of lockdown rules (I guess she normally lives in a different state or something?) - so that was why Leah went on her extended trip to see VJ and the writers developed the relationship between Justin and Theo instead. And I think it's worked so much better - giving Theo an understanding of what a real father-son relationship might feel like and allowing him to feel that trust and affection for a father figure again.

Look at his left arm now - there’s no sign of the stylised barbed wire-like tattoo he used to have! I’ve attached a pic (obvs with Ash so we can all sigh at the happy memories) of what his arm used to look like!

Thing is Chloe didn't want to leave cos she wanted to be around the memories of Ari and then she shouts at Mia for talking about him.

What she means is

"Seeing you is a reminder I'm a psycho you killed my Dad for no good reason, who you then tried to take the blame for, and then Ari took the blame and I LET HIM so although he'd still be dead in all likelihood, you didn't even get those last few weeks together. And that makes me feel bad so get out of my sight."

Poor Mia needs to go to New Zealand to stay with Nik's mum and leave Chloe to it. I just can't believe Chloe has gone from pretend crying with that creepy look on her face to "oh I just want to move on and you won't let me". Makes no sense 😬🙈

Yes I think time with Gemma (?) is a good idea and doesn’t feel like she’s been ousted to key Chloe move on. Though presenting Mia with plane tickets is pretty much pushing her out the door.

I think one of them could have just moved out of the house to give each other space - it’s fairly rare for adult children to live with their parents (although not sure how Chloe expected to pay rent on her part time waitress wages and still be in a position to describe a potential let as a “dive” 🤔)

Surely Chloe could just move in with Irene? She must have at least 2 empty bedrooms 😀

I'm away this week and haven't caught any episodes. Have I missed any poker night drama? John and Irene having another dinner that makes it seem like romance could be starting, but then confusingly never happening again?

I’m behind at the moment by about a week so can’t help! Am up to another tedious Martha/Alf/Roo episode dear God what were the writers thinking with this storyline please make it stop because they just have the same conversation over and over again

oh and the same episode contained lots of Mia doing her angsty acting but at least I know that’s coming to an end soon.

I'm quite behind too, I'm at the part where the random gambling guy was begging Mac to have another poker night so he could win back his money, because there's no where else in the whole of Australia that he could gamble? 😂

Roo/Martha/Alf should jog on to Merimbula, permanently. Then I can stop being annoyed at Roo bothering poor Logan at the damn time - at his house, on his day off! Just leave lad to pollute the ocean with his jet ski in peace!
