I'm so behind! I stopped watching when Mac and Flick decided the gambling thing was a good idea.
Chloe with a weird obsession with Bella kinda put me off too.

Have I missed anything good and is it safe to come back to watch again yet?

To be honest it's mostly still the same - the predictable gambling SL, the Roo/Martha/Alf continuous circular conversation, but Chloe's obsession with Bella seems to have waned thank goodness.

I'm struggling to keep up with both soaps and Neighbours is obv time bound so I'm trying to keep up with that and kinda whizzing through the boring bits of H&A on a mass binge. Neighbours is too sad to miss

@SleepingStandingUp I dropped out of Neighbours 18 months ago but I'm planning to at least watch the final ever episode 😔
On the Summer Bay front I caught up with last Thursday and Friday. Not seen any this week yet as we've been decorating the living room 😬 will prob just watch Thurs and Fri this week. Fully expecting no major developments on the Martha front 😂 I still wish they would bring back Roo's daughter Martha. That would be such a good storyline.

They've just done a heartbreaking death and everyone acted their socks off. I cried real rears two nights in a row

I've just caught up. Christ Mac has really got herself in deep now.

Oh I love that Ziggy is a confident curvy lady & always on the beach surfing rather than the typical young slim, bikini models of past. Some of her jumpsuits really aren't very flattering but she looked absolutely stunning all dressed up for Mac's poker events, funny to remember she used to be the wild child always out clubbing. Jasmine is very pretty but both Mac & Chloe seem like they should be attractive but is something very offputing about their expressions when they're talking.

Realising how few cast characters there are in Summer Bay now to years back, guess some was covid but think it's probably more to keep production costs down. No kids due to school disappearing so nobody fostering all the teen waifs and strays, even Irene hasn't saved anyone with her free rooms lately.
They could do with some more short termers and it's supposed to be a holiday spot although most the caravans seem to be taken up with permanent residents.

I think Cash & Rose will eventually get it on and break Jasmine's heart, there's definitely a spark between them.
Already finding Xander annoying after the whole crash saga, it's not like the girl had passed soon after he found her and passing his guilt on to tell driver and then creepily keep on visiting her, it's bit like mr supersurgeon and his skydiving lady.

Loving the extra glamour to casual summer bay but also find it odd that Mac has these illegal poker nights in nosey small town with a curtain for a door and no security.

“Curtain for a door” too right! What’s to stop nosey John sticking his head through?!
I’ve decided to take a small break in the hope that the Martha Roo Alf thing winds up soon. I miss Morag!

I think there's a German word for feeling embarrassed on behalf of someone else...That's how I feel if I've ever seen anyone just playing their guitar and singing in the park or something (tbf that was when I lived in London, no one does that here 😂). Like I feel embarrassed by them not feeling embarrassed?! I feel it now if it happens in TV dramas even though I know it's not real. I imagine them being totally into it and the crew just standing around watching. Honestly don't know why I find it so cringe 😂

DP still going on that Chloe is the most attractive in the show and has said Ziggy is average! 🙄
