Are we assuming she's not coping at all with what's happening and is having some sort of break down? I can't decide if it's that, or if she now feels like Bella is the only one who keeps her calm and will pretend to be upset to make Bella spend time with her 🤔

Whichever it is, I found it quite unnerving!

How come neither Nic nor Bella realised that, despite the awful (fake) crying, Chloe still had completely intact eye make up and a totally dry face? Even crying a little bit like that would have resulted in blotchiness and puffiness!

Oh so Chloe's crying was intentionally fake, not some terrible acting😂. It looks like she has a creepy crush on Bella, with the scene of her covered Bella with a blanket and watching her sleep. Perhaps it's the lack of crisis on those Mexican orders to fulfil each morning.

The Jazz & Cash living together storyline was weird, given he moved into Irene's as even with lack of facilities they had the option of some privacy at the caravan. Prices must be high in summer bay as everyone seems to house share.

I’m a bit behind - need to catch up over the ironing today!

So over the character of Chloe (not that I ever really liked her) - and I haven’t even seen the scenes you’re talking about yet! Not looking forward to her getting even more creepy and weird. I’m still irritated by the whole killing Matthew storyline - as if you’d hit a guy with a brick because he grabbed your mother’s arm. And then, as if you’d manhandle a dead body into your boot and try to dispose of it. It’s just insane. And any parent would be able to see that what Chloe actually needed wasn’t this ridiculous cover story where everyone she loved got into trouble to protect her, but to be allowed the chance to own what she had done, face the consequences and get proper help.

It's very weird. Like Chloe has imprinted on Bella 🤔 I did have a premonition of Chloe watching Bella sleeping, as it seemed the sort of thing people do in soaps when they're going loopy.
Nik might find himself being bopped over the head next 😳

Someone summarised it well on the spoiler thread. She's already a needy Princess, Bella is suddenly the ONLY person who understands and still treats her ike a Princess so it's like she does BELIEVE she needs Bella and any means are fair because, well she needs her.

I had a massive catch-up binge yesterday - Chloe is so creepy. Although I feel her acting of being creepy is also bad, which makes it more weird!
But she kinda is on her own - Mia is lost in her own grief, and Nik and Tane both have girlfriends to support them. Not excusing her creepy behaviour though! Hopefully it doesn’t drag on, like Mac’s breakdown after Ari <cold-hearted>

Yea I think that the awful acting is making the Chloe situation even more cringe to watch.

Just catching up with yesterday's episode. I just can't take Chloe seriously, especially when she is angry writing in her diary. I need this storyline to be over very very soon.

Well, I predict the diary is found and read - by Mia? Who then realises her child has been struggling soooo much and decides to arrange grief/trauma counselling (maybe Maz hooks them up with whoever sorted her out)
But Nik Bella Ryder also read the diary at some point and start hating on Chloe, but after her stint in counselling, she’s reformed (back to her more annoying self) and all is forgiven… I dunno, it could go off completely differently… but hopefully at speed.

See now, I think Maz is having a reaction/breakdown to the news of Ari - she made that very pointed remark about not having been told about his death.

She had a significant connection with him from the hospital siege, and her friendship and desire to help him and his family ultimately led to the demise of her marriage with John. Big stuff!

I knew they should’ve told her at the time - I’d want to know, even if I was at rock bottom. She would’ve been in a safe and supportive environment, if she were to fall even further.

As for Chloe - I was also shouting at the tv! Gaslighting, manipulating!
