I've just seen that Amelie Mauresmo has taken over as tournament director at RG, after Guy Forget resigned the other day. That's a big gig- maybe she will address the scheduling issues that saw the women delay their semi final matches (due to poor planning and rain delays) to allow the men to play on the main show courts in 2019. Guy was criticised for that (our mate Jo Konta was not happy, iirc, but for once she had a point).

Oh that’s a good appointment for Amelie - the women’s scheduling has been rubbish at the French Open in the last few years so hopefully she can sort that out

I can’t believe they’re letting Djok play in Australia ! Are they going to let all the unvaccinated players play? I’m surprised but can’t see the Australian public being happy about it

Hopefully Djok will get asked lots of questions about his vaccination status and it will put him off and he loses in the first round (fingers crossed!)

Although I had my booster jab yesterday and my arm is killing me (that’s not a good enough excuse not to have it though!)
