I hadn’t see about Jo retiring - I did read the other day though that she was struggling with injuries and apparently said a couple of years ago that she probably only had another couple of years on the circuit because she wanted to start a family. I suppose if she can’t see herself recovering quickly and she had been thinking of retiring in the not too distant future anyway it does make sense to bring it forwards and take the pressure off yourself. It’s a shame her career has just fizzled out like that though.
