Hope everyone is OK and surviving the weather - we have lots of snow and it’s freezing - was supposed to be going out tonight but it’s been cancelled - phew! I was reading something about HOGO (hassle of going out) - I think I’ve definitely got a case of HOGO!

Looks as if GB have done well against France in the Davis Cup - haven’t managed to see any - I still need to get my head around who is playing when

In other news the Medvedevs have done a bit of a saucy shoot for Russian Tatler - it’s all a bit weird . The Tennis Podcast described it as soft porn

The weather is rubbish- and to make matter worse, our boiler has broken, couldn't have chosen a worse weekend, and we can't get anyone out til Monday. It's bloody freezing- and we've no hot water.

Fizzy I'm not sure I am going to rush off and look up the Medvedev photo shoot .

I have tried to look up scores for the Davis Cup - but didn't get far.

Oh no Raahh that’s bad luck with the boiler - ours also packed up last year in the middle of freezing weather - hope it gets sorted soon

Oh no Raah, hope you can get it fixed tomorrow. My mum’s boiler is also playing up but luckily she has a separate shower unit that heats its own water so she can wash and she can boil a kettle for washing up etc, so it’s just the heating and she does have a little portable heater to use.

Thank you both- have been boiling kettles for water this morning- dd2 has a Christmas event for schooling the local village(outdoors from 11til 4!) so we need to be sorted for that. I think they will be regretting that.. I will just drop her off...

I'm hoping there is nothing major wrong with the boiler and it gets sorted tomorrow. (After I have washed my hair over sink again with the kettle).

We do have an air con unit down stairs that also does heating. Usually I hate it ( horrible dry heat) but for once, I am glad we have it.

Watched a bit of Emma's match at the Royal Albert Hall. Now about to start doubles. Bahrami and Ferrer vs Pernfors and Almagro. Don't know how long the BBC will continue showing it, as I thought they'd stop after Emma. I used to love going to watch this and saw so many greats over the years, including Mansour and Mikael, but apparently it's the last year at the Royal Albert Hall.

It's funny- Struff is one of those players that I do end up watching a lot, and he is always around - causing upsets. But I couldn't tell you what he looks like- or pick him out of a line up .

I'm not convinced by the Djok stuff, either kazza. Djok senior seems to think Novak is being 'blackmailed' over divulging his vaccination status- well hardly. The rules apply to everyone.
I really hope no one caves and decide to bend the rules for him at the last minute.
