Setting up the bingeing thread which, same as last year, works parallel to the concurrent one which is TV pace.
This thread is for those of us with no willpower to discuss the whole series freely.
Episode 2 with the loose women references and Pat/Kitty's dance routine was joyous was my favourite from the six.
But the whole series works - whether it's willy-shaped chess pieces or butt jokes. It's just a lovely ensemble. I also thought Mary had better lines/more to her part this time around.

Julian's reactions when he was realising he was a ghost were brilliant. The shock on his face when Humphrey's head talked to him after he'd seen Humphrey's body was perfect - he looked genuinely terrified.

And I honestly feel something quite unladylike for Robin. On paper he is not the stuff of dreams. Under the light of the moonah though I seem to be quite taken.

Its a different director this year and i dont think they are doing the twitter threads about how its filmed. Pity as i always enjoyed seeing how its done.

There's just an incidental moment when they are talking about their dreams, Mary announces 'I has a strange dream', and someone (Julian?) mutters 'strap in.....'

It was the captain I think, and for some reason it completely finished me.

Also 'Lord Bummenbach and his finest balls in the county' caused us to have to pause it to allow 16yo DS to recover.

I’m cross I binge watched this series, I restrained myself for the others but I’m missing it now. I will have to go back to the very beginning and rewatch them all.

I’ve just started watching spirited on Amazon Prime, recommend on another Ghosts thread. Same sort of situation -only one person can see the ghost- not sure how I feel about it yet, maybe because I’m missing the Button hall lot.

I was reading about the actual house they use, they do guided tours! Not near me alas but will definitely book a trip to stay near there in the future so I can see where it’s filmed.

In series 2 Alison had pinned up details of each of the ghosts in the kitchen cupboard so that Mike can reference them - newspaper report of Pat's death , photo of the captain, etc and there's a small portrait of Kitty
