Lighthearted and a chance to vent!

Right now for me it's the Dairy Milk icecream one (Magnum ripoff), where the kid is grating chocolate onto vanilla ice cream, and then pouring melted chocolate on it...an older guy (meant to be a brother or parent?) then gets two Dairy Milk ice creams out of the freezer and tells the kid he can have one after he's cleared the mess up. Tagline is "You already know blah blah blah"

Grinds my gears because it's just so stupid! Surely the kid would already know those ice creams are already in the freezer? When I was kid we knew exactly what was in the fridge and freezer at all times!

And the only thing I already know about Dairy Milk chocolate is that it's now vile...

I can't stand the verisure tv adverts. They are so contrived. Especially the one where it's 2 couples having a dinner party discussing how many houses get broken into when people go on holiday and how they really must get an alarm fitted. Argh!

I feel the same about those funeral plan adverts as well. Very contrived chat about how she's been to a funeral but it was great because she's decided to take out a funeral plan and it only costs X a month.

I also hated the advert for either Wiltshire Farm/Oakhouse Foods, where that guy is going "I think the [can't remember] is my favourite" and then he goes "No! The lasagne"

All of them. Every single one drives me into a frothing ball of irritation. Marketeers think we are all thick as shit.

But the worst of the lot is that dominos one. I have to scramble to mute ASAP

The Haribo one where the adults talk in stupid childish voices.

The one for Canva presentations is driving me mad.

Her presentation is in 20 mins and she hasn’t started? It’s all so... naff!

The laughing McDonald's advert winds me up and definitely doesn't inspire me to get one!

The Omaze lady's voice is the same voice Victoria Wood used in one of her sketches about a make up counter. Sacherel I think!

perf with surf....euch. perf is not a word!!! and her voice and accent omg. I know it sounds awful but puts me off Surf as i associate it with being "common" (and yes i know i sound like a terrible snob)

There's another one that's started recently can't remember what for but a blonde woman in a pink dress with an equally awful voice. I have no idea what the ad is for cos i turn it off as soon as she appears.

The ads for gambling which show a sophisticated man in a tux in a casino - any ad which says gamble responsibly. Now there is an oxymoron.

The bladder leak underwear that is actually pretty. No it is not.

It annoys me that no one over probably 60 really appears on an ad (apart from wills or equity release)

There's a new advert for life insurance where the woman is playing hide and seek, and decides to phone for life insurance while hiding in her GD's teepee. "I'm 50 and a non-smoker." She's 50?

BTW if my neighbours receive any of my mail by accident, I expect them to pop it thru my letterbox. Not let themselves into my house and deliver it by hand, whilst having a conversation about what that mail is.

Re Lenor. These people who are cuddling up in bed in the woods/fields enjoying the smell of Lenor, are exactly the same people who cuddled up in bed in a city centre to enjoy the smell. Don't use the same people!!

I don't know what the advert is for but it has a creepy CGI singing baby, it's awful 🤢
It is worse than the baby/child from twilight!
