Yes it was. It was a real shame because they have all been so supportive of one another the whole series. They should have edited it out.

I thought serena would win right from the outset but thought she was a bit dull but she really pushed herself. I loved her mum too.

She really deserved to win in the end.

Oh yeah I didn't like that shady comment about "I've seen the yellow design". this is not that kinda show

I didn't like that snidely comment either.

I hope it's of great comfort to her to know that she hardly showed Raph's design off to it's best effect (Serena's was still the best, but she didn't do Raph any favours)

Arguably the dress didn't do her any favours either. She is a pretty girl but the design made you look at her thighs which are not her best feature.

As I also have short fat legs I know not to try the look.

I've just downloaded a free pattern for a dressing gown because I can't find a Terry one in a dark colour. Just need to seek out fabric now!

I've just downloaded a free pattern for a dressing gown because I can't find a Terry one in a dark colour. Just need to seek out fabric now!

I got mine from here www.thetowelshop.co.uk/100-terry-towelling-dressing-gown/ in case you can't find the terry fabric. I made one once it was extremely messy.

I watched the lingerie episode from Series 4 that was mentioned upthread. My God, Patrick was gorgeous in that three piece suit and with longer hair . Tho' he did look less like a retired headmaster for last night's final.

Peak Patrick was definitely series 3&4.

Patrick looks like a yoof in series 3. I actually prefer him with his grey beard. Though, I'm glad he ditched the dodgy tash and heavy designer stubble he had a couple of years back.

He's about the same age as dh and has a similar amount of grey.

I thought his model would have made it edgy looking but she was a bit leaden. Still, he's got a real imagination and fingers crossed he is back working in his industry.

Yes - I was surprised how self-conscious she seemed to be. I thought she looked as though she could take the world on with one hand tied behind her back, but she sort of froze like a rabbit in headlights.

I was struck by how awkward all 3 models seemed (exactly as I would be, I should add). I wondered if they were given any advice on how to strut their stuff so they could do the dresses justice - I'd have been both very self-conscious and concerned about showing the dress off to its best advantage.

Failing that a glass a wine beforehands! Hic
