I think that was the right decision, although quite a boring decision. I now wish Damien had reached the final and stormed it by making a red carpet dress out of red carpet.

Right decision although all three of them were great.

Love the catch ups. Last year's was very poignant with Clare back at work in was it respiratory medicine? Certainly something very Covid frontline.

I would love to know more about what Raphs job as an fabric technician really involves. I'm still slightly baffled! I assume his catch up was a not very subtle hint towards a Marvel film though?

Watching a few mins behind you all. Happy with that result though my head said it should be Rafe. The comments from Esme about fairy dust - that's something you won't forget in a hurry.

What's the difference apart from one having an app on the phone and other being able to test for pregnancy as well. Used the phone connected kit, but no luck ttc. Heard about the monitor, but is it really the same thing?

Raph's did look a bit like a Quality Street vagina . Glad Serena won but they all did really well.

So pleased Serena won. Loved her dress, sewn so well with all those layers. It made me cry when she saw her mum on the screen, and then her mum started crying. Loved how they both do a little bounce when they are happy. I really liked seeing her make and wear the blue ruffle dress. She looked so happy in it.
Rebeccas dress was nice, just not red carpet imo. More bridesmaid I thought, or prom.
Raphs was ok, could have been so much sharper with all the pleats. He can do so much better and like someone else mentioned the back just looked terrible.
Much as it was nice they made for friends, I think it would have looked better on proper models.
This was such an enjoyable series to watch, and they all seemed so close in the final. The rapport was just great with Joe and Patrick and Esme, and with the finalists.
Anyway, where's my Prosecco? 🥂

I’m running a bit late , it’s a shame Raph’s wasn’t finished , Rebecca’s looked like a pair of curtains and the scuba material is not nice at all, the yellow is not my colour but it’s very Villanelle and very on trend and also technically challenging with gathers and net and boning . Very pleased she won , I thought Raph would come through at the end but it just wasn’t his day .

That was lovely. Rafe lost it with his dreadful dress but was so gracious, pointing out Serena was the best sewer in the room, which she clearly was. Rebecca's dress looked good and fitted well but lacked the wow factor - and it would have been a travesty if she had beaten Serena. What a lovely series - happy sigh.

Loved the blue dress. Fantastic.

Please don't tell me that awful yellow dress won.

Delighted Serena won although tbf all 3 were great and could have done it. I did not like Rebecca's dress at all, I thought it looked very dated and not at all red carpet. Raphs was very different and stylish, if only he'd had time to hem it! I loved Serenas dress, it was pure Villanelle, I could just see Jodie Comer wearing it. It was definitely the best of the 3 I thought.
