@Mintyflesh

Omg Kate, stop shouting and start shooting love. The news came on and I half expected them to comment on it!!

This made me laugh Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 18/04/2021 22:12

I reckon Ryan span around to shoot Jo and Kate shot him! There wasn't enough time for Steve to get there.

CovoidOfAllHumanity · 18/04/2021 22:12

I thought that too
Clever Jed Christopher Lawrence = Christopher Adler plus Stephen Lawrence

TheSpottedZebra · 18/04/2021 22:12
@TheSpottedZebra yes and it's not a lorry park 😁 right in the city centre! I love spotting all the locations, it's half the fun of the show.

Thanks all, didn't mean to make it about me but it is really comforting to be watching with you guys now that I'm watching alone, if you know what I mean.
I think their business will be down, as it looks so sinister (in the show).

So they must start selling coffees for all the people who will now want to go there and gawp /get a selfie.

tedsletterofthelaw · 18/04/2021 22:13

@LagganBubble

Apologies if this has been asked already- when Steve revealed that Tommy Hunter was related to Jo, was there something about the genetic link was very close- I took that to mean that Jo could be the result of an incestuous relationship between Tommy & his sister possibly? Am I overthinking??
More likely brother and sister as that's the closest genetic link you can have with someone. I think that's what they meant rather than anything weird.
NoWordForFluffy · 18/04/2021 22:13

Ooh. I also reckon that PC could be in trouble for removing surveillance!

peachgreen · 18/04/2021 22:13

I reckon Jo shot Ryan and so did Kate.

bouncychair · 18/04/2021 22:13

Agree with PP that this is not relaxing Sunday night viewing! Too wired to sleep now - I need to know that Kate is safe!!

MoonCatcher · 18/04/2021 22:13

@peachgreen 💐

Buggerthebotox · 18/04/2021 22:13

@laganbubble Steve said something about "zygote" which means egg, yes? I don't think Tommy's Jo's father but I reckon there's a close connection involving sperm.

CovoidOfAllHumanity · 18/04/2021 22:14

Could it be that Hastings ratted Corbett out so that he could die 'In the Line of Duty' and Steph get the pension and when he found out that wouldn't happen he gave her the money instead

Someone on twitter had just reposted that trailer of Kate with her hands up, Ted on the foghorn. Do they normally film fake scenes to put us off?

WhoWants2Know · 18/04/2021 22:14

She reminds me of professor Umbridge.

Bluntness100 · 18/04/2021 22:14

Actually someone could have shot jo. Someone could have shot Ryan and jo to stop them talking. A bent cop. That could have been thr two shots. Someone else was there and took them out.

TedisnotH · 18/04/2021 22:14

Steve k ew Corbett was an UC officer

WitnessNotSuspect · 18/04/2021 22:14

I reckon Jo shot Ryan.

SophieB100 · 18/04/2021 22:14

Ted said that he spelt definitely wrong on purpose to emulate the person sending the messages to Corbet in Series 5 when he was interviewed by Call me ma'am. She didn't believe him as she said he wouldn't have time to have noticed the spelling error. He emphatically said he did it on purpose.

Bagelsandbrie · 18/04/2021 22:15

Cant stand Carmichael. So boring if it turns out to be her.

I hope Kate gets shot. I love Kate but seriously Steve’s had his fingers cut off, been thrown downstairs, beaten up, driven round by criminals, lost the sexual use of his winky dink and is now addicted to painkillers... what’s happened to Kate as yet?!

TheSpottedZebra · 18/04/2021 22:15

@MotherOfGodWeeFella

I'm not so sure Kate will survive. But we'll have to wait and see. Steve isn't going to hold the £50k given to Steph against Ted. I hadn't realised Steve didn't know Corbett was undercover.
Steve, Kate, everyone knew Corbett was undercover. And that he'd gone rogue. But the OCG didn't know until Ted told Lee Banks.
NeedToKnow101 · 18/04/2021 22:16

Thatbwas stressful! I reckon Kate is a goner and Chloe is the new Kate.

I called the racism storyline last week 😇

It's true. LoD should be on Saturdays not Sundays.

1990s · 18/04/2021 22:16

So Thirwell, have we seen him (James Nesbitt) on screen before now?

HopeClearwater · 18/04/2021 22:17

@peachgreen Flowers xx

mrsmacmc · 18/04/2021 22:17

@Violetroselily

I've just rewatched that trailer and it matches the location tonight - other trailer have been scenes from previous episodes as well. It's nail biting stuff!! Need to calm down the heart rate before bed! Eeeeek!!!
EsmaCannonball · 18/04/2021 22:17

One of the problems I have with this series is that it's centred on people we never got to know. We've never met Gail Vela, we've never met the guy who died in custody, we've never met this James Nesbitt ex-copper. It's hard to get invested in characters you don't know.

Jo's been billed as a complex character but she just comes across as completely blank. Watching her sit in front of that laptop just isn't as compelling as watching the liked of Tony Gates and Lindsay Denton get totally embroiled in the drama.
