Have the scriptwriters changed? All the dialogue sounds slightly off and clunky to me...

It's a tough watch tonight

It’s always been gritty but tonight I don’t know can’t put my finger on it but it’s also lost a bit of its spark I think.

Was this filmed socially distanced? It must have been, right? It just seems so bloody awkward!

This is just all sentimental drivel ever since the original books ended. Watched the last half an hour and it seems even worse then I remember!

Was the habit storyline supposed to be light relief?

Oh I wish I hadnt watched. 26 years since ds1 died in similar circumstances... Never ever gets any easier.. I've been sobbing my heart out....

I have just watched it - my first episode ever tonight - enjoyed it - sad in places will continue now.

Ds1 had all his limbs but only lived for two hours....

Me too. She was great in East is East too

Wasn’t she just. It’s my favourite film and I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve watched that and West is West. She was fabulous in the latter also.
