This series is weird. People just disappearing from one episode to the next when they're in the middle of a storyline. James and Maeva, Paris (not that anyone would miss her), Liv and Tristan... it's like North Korea.

Very odd that the Locke-Lockes are already making a nursery in their London home. Egg donation surrogacy takes a couple of years to organise.

Yes, I am unhappy generally about the normalisation of surrogacy and I think MIC presenting it as something that can be done so quickly and easily is irresponsible. I'm not in favour of it at all.

I agree with everything you’re all saying about surrogacy. It doesn’t sit right with me either.
But let’s face it, the MIC lot do not live in the real world. They want a kid, they can’t naturally have a kid, they will find a way to have a kid. Regardless of the consequences for the kid or mother.

Indeed. I know it’s a reality show, I know they are all totally self-obsessed/absorbed etc.... but as @VodkaSlimline so perfectly puts it, we’re talking about a baby here. Not a fucking handbag. And a woman whose womb is providing you with said baby, and therefore whose health and life is at risk to do so.
But yah, darling, it’s all about the little ones nursery, and whether it’ll wear the Dior or the Chanel all in one when it leaves the hospital. Bleeuugghhh.

Sadly I think they will be able to get a baby fairly quickly as I assume they will just pay someone/an agency from Eastern Europe or similar so they can by-pass any red tape?

I totally agree too about the baby - the entitlement is astounding. I've always had a soft spot for Ollie, but the way the are talking about this, like a transaction and something to throw money at is morally wrong imo.

Yes about Ollie and the baby. I have always liked Ollie and his partner seem level headed and lovely. But I hate the way he talks about surragacy. It is so transactional.
