Our national broadcaster RTE has bought I presume, Series 1 to 5 and put it on our RTE Player so we can catch up. Yay !

Forgot to mention, has anyone else noticed that the theme tune is essentially the start of the Game Of Thrones theme tune slowed down?

Now I’ve heard it I can’t unhear it!

My favourite characters have been Denton and Dot, both brilliantly acted.
I can't see Kate being H, or being a counter-spy in Hillside, given that her acting skills when previously under cover have been so poor (Kate's skills, not V McClure's)

I couldn't stand Jodie in S4 such a sycophantic lapdog! I liked Neil though.

Oh I so agree! Didn't like the character of Jodie at all

I think the police are very hierarchical- fosters sycophants unfortunately.

I’d like to see Sacha Dhawan back as Manish Prasad, as he’s very good looking and the character had some good dramatic tension. But Dot and Denton were the best characters of course, followed by Nige.

Kate did not nearly sleep with Dot! She thought he was being a mate then he propositioned her and she turned him down. Very different.

No, she knew he was thinking along those lines and she was encouraging him while ‘undercover’. At the very end she told him she’d wanted to - whether that was true or not I don’t know. There was clearly a bit of Dot that was quite lost.

Prasad is another of the many people who has got some sort of immunity for offering what seems like very little information!

Yes I noticed this. Surely with Tommy, Prasad and Gill going into WP they would have got some decent intel from them, but yet they are still struggling to get a handle on the OCG. Doesn't seem fair, but I guess this is trying to highlight corruption and people getting away with murder.

Finished my rewatch now. Need something to fill the time now, so re-started Spooks

She really wasn't, she was a hero.

Denton's character is definitely unique - smart, wiley, but really downtrodden. You get the feeling she was disliked, but couldn't understand why, and was constantly trying to fight this opinion people had of her. On one hand she was quite unhinged when she punched Kate in the stomach and battered her neighbour, on the other, she was trying to do the right thing with Tommy Hunter and Carly Kirk (although I think it was the 50k that persuaded her more than anything).

I think it's been really hard for the actors in these role to compete with Keeley Hawes since, although I though Daniel Mays was really good and didn't get a chance to show what he could do in one episode. All the actors in the 'under suspicion' role have been good, really well cast.

Denton was in too deep. She redeemed herself getting the list to ac12 before Dot killed her
