I'm a bit worried now, this is meant to be a no spoiler thread, so is us having watched it and speculating, spoilers? Because if someone hasn't watched Ep 2 yet, they'll be getting spoilers for it?

Steve doesn't know that Ted gave the money to Steph. Last series Ted was under suspicion with his laptop, etc. and a sum of money was found in his hotel room. Steve is Mr. Squeaky Clean. Did he get his temporary promotion before or after visiting Steph? I did wonder if Ted was trying to curry favour with Steve?

I can't remember if it was before or after the Steph visit, but it was an afterthought to a convo about Kate, so looked like Tes certainly wanted to keep Steve on side.

Don't know if it's been mentioned ( thread is 600+ posts) but the date of Steve's emails is out of place. It's the kind of continuity error my brain picks up rather than a clue though.

I thought being interrogated by AC12, you could only be questioned by an officer of similar or higher rank.

I thought being interrogated by AC12, you could only be questioned by an officer of similar or higher rank.

You have the right to be questioned by an officer at least one rank senior.

The characters have appeared in the last 2 episodes but no one has discussed the possibility that they could be related.

No way Steve won’t remember Ryan threatening to bolt-crop his fingers off. It may have happened in 2012 but as soon as he sees his wee little toe rag face, he’ll remember.

I don't see why not though. Speculation is allowed, just concrete spoilers banned.
