I don’t think KM is bad. Let’s face it, LoD is not known for its acting - Compston is bloody dreadful, always too busy concentrating on his accent and pulling his “solving a crime” face. When there are good actors it’s quite jarring. I think KM is supposed to be coming across as she is - stilted and odd. She’s a good actress, no reason she’d suddenly get shit.

So Ryan is back and Steph is back. I reckon Steve has clocked something suspicious going on between Hastings and Steph and his interest in Steph is not romantic. Glad the underpass of doom is back, looking scuzzier than ever.

He obvs suspects Hastings of something with Steph. I suspect Hastings of being Corbett's bio father. Steve is onto that, twigging that she'd likely not have bothered with the sports channels just for herself, so he thinks Hastings has been dropping by.

Of course, he will probably shag her. Or try.

Loved the episode but also think Kelly Macdonald is terrible which is so disappointing as I had high hopes. Not sure what she's trying to convey but she comes across so wooden.

When the camera lingered on Buckells in his office after Steve had spoken to him, it also seemed to stay on the picture of a golfer on the wall next to him. Some kind of link to a caddy there Buckells??
