OK, she's clearly 'slightly unhappy' about being a Bent Copper then...

TokyoSushi · 28/03/2021 22:00

Oh my. I'm new to Line of Duty, but love it and seem to be able to pick up enough to have an idea what's going on. But I have to concentrate so hard that I hardly move a muscle, or even breathe for the full hour!

Buggerthebotox · 28/03/2021 22:00

Owen Teale was Osbourne.

PussyCatEatingEasterEggs · 28/03/2021 22:00

Mayzee put BBC4 on now and watch Between the Lines - LoD from the 90s 😁

PrincessScarlett · 28/03/2021 22:00

I think Jo is undercover like John Corbett was and Ryan has been put there to keep an eye on her. She's trapped because of something that has happened in the past and she had to set Farida up which is why she's do upset.

PussyCatEatingEasterEggs · 28/03/2021 22:01

@Buggerthebotox

Owen Teale was Osbourne.
It's Him.
mizu · 28/03/2021 22:01

Brilliant episode - and only episode 2 yay

Welshwabbit · 28/03/2021 22:01

Absolutely loved every second of that. You do really feel like you're being repaid for loyalty in watching previous seasons. I got all excited as Steve drove up to Corbett's house.

Shimmyshimmycocobop · 28/03/2021 22:02

I always find Kate a bit cringe when she's trying to ingratiate herself with her boss, she always seems like such a brown noser.

MoonCatcher · 28/03/2021 22:05

Agree, and was never very good as an under cover cop.
ImAncient · 28/03/2021 22:05

Well what an episode!

NoWordForFluffy · 28/03/2021 22:05

Oops. Jo has got herself in too deep now...

CongealedCrags · 28/03/2021 22:06

I started off the episode thinking Ted was just swanning around chipping in from the side and not actually doing any policing but by God he stepped up and started throwing those one liners in and he's back in my good books. We're detectives too, you know Grin

So - the locks on Jo's flat are to keep the OCG out.

MoonCatcher · 28/03/2021 22:06

I like that theory. I hope Buckles gets his just desserts this series, horrible man whether he's bent or not.
NoWordForFluffy · 28/03/2021 22:06

She was always bloody rumbled. Utterly shite.

Graffittiunderpass · 28/03/2021 22:06

I think Jo's mother is the reason she's embroiled in the OCG. I just can't figure out why.

colouringindoors · 28/03/2021 22:07

grafitti I agree

SophieB100 · 28/03/2021 22:08

That was so good.
Loved Ted's response when she was saying about having a hunch, like a copper's initiative, and he said, Yes, I think I'm having one of those now".

I've never been a fan of Kate.

Buggerthebotox · 28/03/2021 22:09

I think Kate's bent as a nine bob note - or potentially. She trained in the same college as Akers, Prasad and Cole. All bent.

Her ID document shown in last week's episode had her next of kin as Mr and Mrs Fleming. Afaik Fleming is her married name, not her maiden name.

Interesting reference to the Daniel Morgan killing - a real life murder still unresolved.

stevematekatemate · 28/03/2021 22:09

That was a great episode. I’ll watch again tomorrow.

viques · 28/03/2021 22:10

@minou123

Ooo, that's a new one

"Bookmark that in the DIR"

I shall use this one on Teams calls this week

But what does it mean? ( or are you so scarey at work no one will question you? )
OhWhyNot · 28/03/2021 22:11

That was good

I think I need to watch it again I know I miss the clues

NoWordForFluffy · 28/03/2021 22:12

Oh, going back to Operation Peartree, Saville was linked in that series. It's not a new link at all.

The question now is: did Jo plant the phones or did she give the keys to somebody else to plant them while Farida was at work?

CovidCorvid · 28/03/2021 22:13

@Taswama

Why did they release her?
I’m guessing because they think it’s Ferida now? 🤷‍♀️
unique1986 · 28/03/2021 22:13

I quite like Davidson.
