Anybody know when it starts? All I've found is this Radio Times article saying it will start before the end of March this year. www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/line-of-duty-season-six-release-date/ Kelly Macdonald is due to guest star.

I thought it was that there is now 4 H’s. Hilton was one, Hargreaves another. How was Hastings disproved from being H? I can’t remember!

There are also a couple of names that appeared on both Danny Waldron’s list and on the list of high-ranking police officers with names beginning with H (AC-12 created this list to get to the bottom of who had promoted Dot because that as who they thought was the man pulling the strings on the inside). I was really hoping those names would be explored Series 5 but it never came to anything. Perhaps it will be explored in this series!

What utter shite. That’s so tenuous. Lucky Steve managed to spot it on the video that didn’t exist at the time of Dot’s death, isn’t it? Who recorded it?

So how was Ted cleared again? How did he explain why he got rid of his laptop and spelt ‘definitely’ wrong?

He said he’d got rid of the laptop because he’d watched totally legal porn on it and was ashamed, which was utter horseshit, but Mercurio claimed it was plausible.

Definitely/definately infuriated me because he claimed he’d seen transcripts of previous exchanges and practised the misspelling, but he hadn’t. They’d only had the ‘metadata’ for the messages so would have had no idea of any spelling errors. And this appears to again be ‘plausible’. But it’s just plain wrong.

Mercurio said that it was by no means certain that series 6 wouldn’t come back to Hastings but that both explanations could be regarded as ‘enough’. And yet ‘definately’ couldn’t so feels like a giant gaping plot hole to me.

And the video of Dot was supposedly body cam footage from another officer.

I can't remember how Ted was cleared, but he said he got rid of the laptop because he had been looking at porn, 'but nothing extreme or illegal'. Not sure I believe that

I'm not sure the 'definitely' misspelling was explained, but to be fair he could just point out that a lot of people misspell it and use Mumsnet users as proof.

I don't understand why so many beautiful women seem to throw themselves at Steve?!

Item I AAA is a print out of Ted's bank records for the last umpteen years. It reveals that he has lived in a scuzzy hotel room for ages and ages and has spent nothing on himself other than socks and underwear (multi packs, bought in sales). What is the point in being corrupt if you don't benefit from it?

Item 2 BBB in your packs.

Item 2 BBB is video of Gill Biggeloe's interrogation at the end of S5. She sent the "Urgent Exit" request but there was no response. BUT someone still gave surly redhead cop the order to Kill Gill. This demonstrates that H is still extant but could not be Ted because he was under observation by cameras the whole time.
