Anybody know when it starts? All I've found is this Radio Times article saying it will start before the end of March this year. www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/line-of-duty-season-six-release-date/ Kelly Macdonald is due to guest star.

Can't wait!

Can anyone remind me who Lee Banks is please.
I think he is the guy in prison who Ted went to visit in season 5 , the woman from Motherland masquerading as a very mean senior police officer then said Ted had used the visit to get him , Banks, to arrange for the death of John the undercover officer.

Yes, that wasn't believable even if the solicitor was also bent.

I think the appropriate adult does very little usually, tbh. But not that little.

Ted's stock is low, Steve's on the codeine and Kate's gone her own way so the set-up is very much not 'hey, let's get the band back together', they're alienated, bored and lost. I guess that's the set-up - hence low energy feel to it all but they'll be drawn back together . . .
Yup. Loved it. Off to rewatch now.

agree on 'oddball', it jarred as its not accurate. or is that JM ramping up our sympathy for, let's face it, a burner character - just how unpleasant is it going to get for him? LOD can be really horrible to the characters that don't make it (and those that do - remember Steve and The Stairwell? shudder)

There is an article about him in the Guardian. He is Scottish, I didn’t know that, has a voice coach for the London accent, and likes curry.

Apparently the famous underpass will be making an appearance.

Hated Jo and the skinny one (young version of Dot?) for their crap interview but perhaps that's a device in itself. I've been an appropriate adult once and wasn't required to do anything other than sit and be a reassuring presence but mine was for a witness statement rather than a murder investigation! Plus the copper was lovely.

I find it hard to believe Kate hasn't made the freezer/cuckoo/OCG link yet, I spotted it straight away and that was without the script in front of me 😂

First scene with Steve - know what my first thought was? Hair plugs or toupee. Anyone else notice how his hair at the front looked a little false. Or was I scrutinising every inch of the hour too much Grin

I've had my LoD name all this trine anyway so yay!

Def slower than previous openers but I'm still intrigued.

I think Teds oddball comment was very in keeping with his character, even though it's obviously not appropriate to us on here, Tes is not very appropriate a lot of the time.

My family has made me check twice that I have the TV on the right channel

I've just done the same Grin.

I spent a while working how I could record LOD, Midsomer Murders and The Murder Room, almost resorted to a spreadsheet. Finished up watching LOD on digital rather than Sky so I could record the other two. Managed to cane a box of Bendicks bittermints, hate popcorn.
