Is anyone watching it out of all the bad press she gets you can see she really cares about Harvey

I hope the fact that the problems of finding somewhere for people like Harvey will be listened to.
When Katie was looking for places who could deal with his complex needs , she only found three and none were very near her ~ two in Surrey and one in another county, can't remember where.

She has an amazing relationship with Harvey. She came across really well in this documentary.

Her public persona does her no favours.

I really loved it and agree that she's a fantastic mum. Harvey is a wonderful young man and their devotion to each other was really beautiful to witness.

I really hope Harvey gets into that college. He went hating it on sight to liking it - they must have done a great job at "handling" him on the tour.

She is an inspiration the love between the two was heart-warming she has been very private around his level of care.
Admittedly I haven't always been team KP she is a fighter. ❤

I wondered what happened to the poster on the AMA thread whose son was sectioned.

I was shocked by the section I'd no idea you lost all parental rights.

I'm so glad to see this thread - I watched last night and welled-up so many times. I always rather liked KP - look how sweet she is with Harv and how she is the only one who can soothe him. But more importantly, look how lovely he is, so polite and articulate and considerate (as are the other children) even with his complex needs. That says a lot for her imo.

Say what you like about her life choices (and approximately 95% of what is spun in the media about her is bollocks anyway) Harv is an absolute credit to her.

I LOVED hearing him mimic the train announcements, it was adorable.

I am now watching this... My ds2 has been on a similar path to Harvey. Not medically but in his behaviour.. I have brought him up in his own since he found he found his Dad when he had died just before he turned five. 😔 😔 😔
He was in a specialist psychiatric unit twice for his autism... I had to travel to London every week to see him... I had to make the decision about what was best for him. He was until two years ago in a supported living house... He grew out of it and is now a test case. He lives in a flat 5 mins from the sl house on his own. He has specialist equipment in the house and wonderful neighbours and people in the town who look out for him... I can really empathise with Katie and Harvey's relationship.

Katy was great in Im a Celebrity though surely.?

She used to be close to her mother, so i wondered where she was, wonder if it was due to the pandemic that she wasnt there?

a google has told me her mum has moved to spain due to a lung condition.

I like Katie she’s a fab mum and it must not have be easy.

Someone like pierce Morgan needs to do an up to date interview with Dwight York!

I know money will never make up for his non existent parenting but I do hope Katie made him pay for his child all these years!

I had absolutely no idea what the actual definition meant. I assumed it was a word for a really horrible person that would be so callous to pick on those that are vulnerable. Breaks my heart that people are so cruel.

She works hard undoubtedly I'm sure as much as she enjoys working some jobs are very tough. It can't be easy supporting 5 DC.
I hope DY help finance Harvey he ignored Harvey's message not long ago.
Harvey has a cracking sense of humour he is so loving and affectionate it is clearly what he is use too. ❤

Don't forget she acts the way she does as it gets her the stories / publicity / money. It's not her fault she's had kids with 3 men who didn't want to be with her. Could happen to a few of us.

She has done a fantastic job rising such a lovely polite young man, and their bond is wonderful. The fact she didn’t have a carer for him and does everything herself is incredible.

Harvey clearly has very complex needs and the program highlighted how vulnerable he is also. He’s such a funny young man too - lived the bits when he says things like ‘yes babe’.

I think she’s done an amazing job with all of her children. I’ve seen bits of other programs with them all appearing and they all seem to be super polite and well adjusted.

I am in total agreement, their bond is beautiful. The scene in the little train station where she sat waiting patiently for him, giving him all the time he needed to photograph the trains, really made me think. Life is so busy, the pressure of time immense.
She loves that young man of hers so much it shines through him. His father may have been a piece of shit but he hit the jackpot with his mum.
I think both of them would make amazing spoke persons for young adults with learning difficulties.

Yes I hope he gets into it too
