Looking forward to Drag Race uk tomorrow

It’s cold, dark and there’s a pandemic but one bright light is the new series of drag race tomorrow. The last series was so joyful and really put British drag back on the map. I hope this series is just as good

I also loved Bimini's catwalk look. They looked stunning. The hair, the eyes, the shoes; it was SO Bimini.

I enjoyed tonight's, but was a bit disappointed with some of the Snatch Game choices.. however I LOVED Bimini, absolutely brilliant.

I thought it was such a shame that both Laurence and Tia who are comedy queens just completely lost it and just weren't funny. I don't even know who Tayces' character is as I've never watched that show but she was so much funnier.

As for who I'd have sent home.. it would have been Sister Sister, I just haven't warmed to them at all, I don't know what it is, whether they just seem insincere or something, but there's something off. It seemed fairly obviously they'd had inspiration from A'whora for last week, and they just didn't want to admit it at all.

I will really miss Tia I thought they were funny and down to Earth, Lawrence, I enjoy their looks but sometimes find them a bit OTT.

I think Tayce or Bimini to win for me at the moment. Absolutely loved both their runway looks. I mean who knew bacteria could be so beautiful and couture!?

I think the queens in lockdown episode really made them all very relatable. I love Bimini, I would watch a whole show of Bimini.

A'Whora is a very talented designer and now the facade is falling away, I think she's sweet. But don't think she's multi talented enough to win.

No, they can buy, make their own or have them made. No rule that they have to make their own.

I think it's probably the minority who made their own. Which is why i feel it's a bit unfair to completely slate queens like Tia / Joe Black who possibly don't have as much money to put into their costumes.

If you can afford to have an amazing designed costume then of course you're probably going to look amazing. It probably comes down to who you know as well, I suspect.

I have no problem with queens buying their costumes - Bimini's wasn't handmade by them and it was still stunning, but I do think there needs to be an element of fairness in regards to budget.

Wasn't this brought up last year too? I seem to remember The Vivienne bought every costume and they were amazing, but I seem to remember another queen bringing it up and saying if they could afford to buy all their costumes they'd also look that good.. I can't remember who. But there must be some issues created with it.

Lawrence really had an off week (well, I hope that's all it was). Margolyes (however you spell it) is pretty one dimensional and doesn't give you much to work with. Going with Boyle or Lorraine as suggested by previous posters would have given Lawrence far better material.

Tayce took a big chance however didn't even go with the big catch phrases for that character (I love 'Kath and Kim' but appreciate it's not that well know/a bit old/a bit niche).

Bimini definitely aced this week - the KP was brilliant and the catwalk was amazing, possibly the best I think we've seen from them.

Oooooh bring on next week! I wish we could binge it Cake

Not sure they're a couple but they do live in a house share together and seem to have history..

Agree Bimini was fantastic. I didn't think much of her to begin with but she's really coming into her own now.

WHY is sister still there???? She's awful. So average and those dreadful new teeth have made her extra shady.

I've loved Tia's bits to camera and she comes across so well.

I'm really warming to A'hora too.

I'm loving the series so far!

Ps - also consider myself a feminist and have no problem with drag.

All the others have grown on me but not Sister, I can't work out what it is though. Always seems a bit insincere maybe.

@NoKingDingaLingTitsInAbsentia I love Kath and Kim too andalso noticed a lack of catchphrases other than "hunk of spunk" but we don't get to see every contestant's answers so I'm guessing Tayce probably did use some more but they got cut out.

At least Ru managed to get in noice, different, unuuuusual!

Sister comes across as very rude on camera and in the confessional. Quite up their own arse. I also didn't like when they solely blamed Veronica over the goth thing with Lorraine when actually it was their performance that was shite.

DD says they do not pass the vibe check. I think that means they are a bit catty and nasty.

We are both warming to Awhora though, DD wanted to give them a cuddle!

Really enjoy the special guests, although Gemma Collins didn't seem to smile much !

I can't warm to Sister either. She's neither edgy nor attractive enough and the teeth and the footering about with her face she during lockdown just make her look a bit odd but not in a good way.

I like Ellie. I'm Scottish and I prefer her to Lawrence who plays on their Scottishness to cringeworthy levels.

When I see the hair, I start thinking of the video for Come on Eileen. I think it's that dodgy hair cut and the scarf round the neck that does it.

Another one disappointed with this week - Bimini completely stole the show in snatch game and aside from tayce, the others were a bit meh. But I’m more than a little bit obsessed with Tayce cos of her fire 🔥

Sad tia has gone cos she was lovely, but her runway looks just weren’t up to it. Hopefully sister will be out next week as she’s seeming like a filler queen.
