Anyone watching.

I'm actually surprised more people don't try to annoy the police by doing the stuff she did. As I've worked with offenders and some are really good at working themselves! Grin

I was really up for not believing she was this awful manipulative woman as its normally men who mistreat women. But she was awful.

nevernotstruggling · 08/01/2021 14:02

This was so good!!

I felt sorry for the current boyfriend he seemed really quite traumatised and heavily 'invested' according to dp.

At one point I thought she was set up by husband 1 but clearly not.

The residency of the child and the private proceedings were fascinating but no divulged and rightly so.

Autumnchill · 08/01/2021 14:17

We were also expecting the husband to be a wrong un but he came across very well and it was obvious very quickly he was the injured party.

Pebbledashery · 08/01/2021 14:18

I loved where she said she was gluten free and then wanted a sandwich 😂

Plussizejumpsuit · 08/01/2021 14:50

Yeah the repeated attacks kind of nailed her! But I was still thinking he could have been an awful husband. But still she wasn't right.
Pebbledashery · 08/01/2021 14:56

It's funny that her ailments suddenly flared up when she was placed in a difficult situation 🤔

Standrewsschool · 08/01/2021 17:42

I wonder if any other men will come forward after seeing the programme. The man on the barge was only found because one of the men’s dad mentioned him.

Crazycatlady83 · 08/01/2021 18:15

I watched this with my DH and we just couldn’t believe it! She walked into the Police station, all nonchalant and within seconds of being arrested was on the floor, in pain unable to walk. She is obviously very used to manipulating a situation and was using all the tricks she had over many years to try and get out of the charges. this seems to have worked in the past, as the programme said she was bailed 8 times due to ill health on the arson charges!

Please tell me I wasn’t the only one to literally gasp when “not guilty” .......... “of one count” was put up at the end!! Grin

Pebbledashery · 08/01/2021 19:23

Honestly the bit where she was on thr floor i was laughing my head off. So utterly transparent.

Autumnchill · 08/01/2021 19:28

@Crazycatlady83 nope I shouted out 'wtf' and then breathed a sigh of relief

Standrewsschool · 08/01/2021 19:32

@Crazycatlady83

We were screaming at the tv as well. Someone at the programme has a sick sense of humour.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 08/01/2021 20:02

Does anyone on this thread remember the episode about a woman who was found dead in a flat, also somewhere in East Anglia I think? She lived with her boyfriend and a lodger. They were all alcoholics/drug addicts and the police investigation discovered one of the suspects living in a tent at the side of the road?

CarrieCat · 08/01/2021 20:04

Was that the one where they dragged the body to a park and dumped it and it was found by someone?

CarrieCat · 08/01/2021 20:05

I might be getting mixed up with another one

Cissyandflora · 08/01/2021 20:05

This is fabulous news. I’ll watch later. It’s just what I need.

CarrieCat · 08/01/2021 20:07

I think I remember the one you are talking about. Was it Eastern European migrant workers? I think the one where they moved the body may have been Crawley actually

Chicchicchicchiclana · 08/01/2021 20:10

Yes, it was the episode about the migrant workers.

Do you remember anything specific about the very first few minutes of that episode?

I wish I could watch it again just to confirm what I think I remember.

TartanLassie · 08/01/2021 20:13

No same here I was "WHAT THE FUCK ..... "
like a pp said that was someone with a sick sense of humour!! Got me!!!

LadyPenelope68 · 08/01/2021 20:17

What an evil woman she was! You could just sense the anger and absolute frustration in the Detectives voice when she went back to prison prior to interview because she hadn’t had her medication. Very good episode.

LadyPenelope68 · 08/01/2021 20:18

I liked the last Custody Officer who was obviously seeing straight through her and not giving her sympathy etc and sticking to his guns about not giving her the sandwich. Good on him!

BreasticlesNotTesticles · 08/01/2021 20:40

There was a similar programme on bbc 4 this week - 24/7 I think? About the murder of a drug dealer.

I started off thinking maybe Victoria just wanted her kid back but that obviously wasn't the case after the car blowing up. She was very predatory. Earl was a nob but I felt sorry for his mum ☹️

EspressoExpresso · 08/01/2021 21:11

@Kanaloa

It was crazy. How did she get all that hidden money without anyonr ever noticing? If it came out if benefits or her wages surely it would have been missed when it came to paying bills. And I think she lost all credibility about being desperate to see her daughter when it came out about the arson attack.
I wondered if she was getting all these drugs for her back (assuming she was taking/exaggerating it and didn't need them) and sold them on
LubaLuca · 08/01/2021 21:25

My favourite part was when she was lying on the floor, and the officer said "I'll just step over you." Grin

I work with a woman very much like her. She often lies on the floor by her desk in a walkway when things aren't going her way, and she has been very unwell generally for 18 months with no diagnosis (and no determination to get answers). She has transient food allergies and intolerances. Also, she's accused her ex's new partner of interfering with her children (she still sends the kids to their home every weekend). Lots of online dating, hoping to meet the man who will solve all of her problems but who are too thick to see the obvious downsides.

It's obviously not an uncommon combination of behaviours.

JerichosPenisInADeadChickHat · 08/01/2021 21:44

Me and DP found it unremarkable Confused

We're obviously desensitised through our work!

RhubarbTea · 08/01/2021 22:23

I neeeed to know how she got all that money. Internet scamming people? Pretending to have cancer and doing an online Go Fund Me? Selling gifts from millions of gullible boyfriends? HOW? Also wondering about the discrepancy between the amounts...

I'm going to be a bit unpopular and say that both her first husband and that Graham bloke gave me the creeps. I didn't like either of them. Graham especially came across as trying to put on a hard done by front and look good but there were a lot of red flags there. I do think he genuinely had feelings for her but I have some issues with him.
I really liked her second husband, he seemed like a decent bloke with a temper who lost it after she goaded him into committing arson and really paid the price.

Didn't notice the hairy ears at all! Grin
