Anyone watching.

OP posts:
Edgeoftheledge · 06/01/2021 22:47

Watched second part tonight. The polio comment had me in stitches. Such a con arrest... she was not impressed with her vegan gf foodGrin On a serious note, I hope Rob and her children will safe when she gets out.

Edgeoftheledge · 06/01/2021 22:48

Agree it was great to highlight there are people like her about. Glad Earl’s charges were droppef.

bimbimbap · 06/01/2021 22:59

just finished watching this and really enjoyed it (if that’s the right word, she was SO annoying!) the wibbly whispery little voice when it suited her, going from heading off to pick up her son to fully crippled in an instant, the requests for hot water bottles / bibles / sick bowls - aaaaagghh!

WhatWouldYouDoWhatWouldJesusDo · 06/01/2021 23:01

She was terrifying.

Honestly, Stephen king could write a series of books on the warped nutjob 😳

ArsenicNLace · 07/01/2021 10:40

@JudyGemstone

I'm wondering why she didn't just whack him herself if she was that bothered.
Well if she got someone else to do it she could distance herself from it all. She would ensure she had a cast iron alibi for the time it happened. She had already got away with the arson by getting her husband to do it.

I did a bit of googling and apparently she had 3 children 2 of whom who'd been taken away from her including Rob's daughter. I wondered if the other child had been adopted because there was no mention of it & she wasn't attempting to recover that child.

Also it wasn't just the fact she'd lost custody of the daughter it was also the fact that she hadn't seen her for years. Suggests some serious issues.

LemonBreeland · 07/01/2021 10:49

Her simpering voice was bloody hard to take. Those police officers must have been so frustrated. I do think there is something about her being so well spoken too, that just made her seem more evil.

The boyfriend who recorded her and his crying at the end, I think he has some issues. I didn't get the impression they'd been together that long, yet he was supposedly still in love with her.

TeachesOfPeaches · 07/01/2021 11:03

I actually started hysterically laughing when she requested the bible. Grin

Bluntness100 · 07/01/2021 12:22

Another good one is outcry on true crime (sky) about gene kelley, a high school foot baller accused of abusing a four year old boy.,,

Agree. My ds is autistic and if he was asked a question like this he'd just answer it - honestly! 🤦‍♀️

He often explains to me how you can do things that would be illegal, by pass things etc. It's just information to him.

So did I. And I was bloody impressed with the calm and completely non reactive way the officer requested one for her.
Edgeoftheledge · 07/01/2021 15:06

The custody sergeant when she claimed to be a gluten free veggie but wanted a sandwich was brilliant! He wasnt taking any nonsense.

Edgeoftheledge · 07/01/2021 15:07

And shes gf and doesn’t realise coffee doent gave gluten in Hmm

MrsA2017 · 07/01/2021 15:08

I loved it when the appropriate adult made a joke about looking like Myra Hindley on her ID card.... Victoria’s face was fantastic 🧐

CleverCatty · 07/01/2021 16:51

she's as thick as F but a uni graduate and a nurse... Hmm - maybe she's just pretending to be as thick as F to the police thinking they'll be lenient on her...

You could tell she was 'shocked' or 'pretending' to be shocked when they arrested, charged her etc.

The funniest for me (and I felt bad about it) was watching her cringe and groan in obviously faked pain e.g. when she was in the police car going after speed bumps (they hurt my hip when it does that!) especially after seeing her prancing around a living room with no pain whatsoever!

The paramedic/medical person (blonde, green uniform) was surprisingly patient and sympathetic with her - despite probably realising she was putting a lot of her symptoms on.

the simpering voice and the 'low,' and gentle voices, were as the police said, designed to make out she was a delicate little flower who didn't have an evil bone in her body... Hmm
HollowTalk · 07/01/2021 17:08

I thought this was really funny, too. I couldn't believe they were asking her things like, "Are you a veggie?" because it was inevitable she'd say yes. Anything that would cause them a problem, she was all over it.

Did anyone notice that her boyfriend said she had £23,500 in cash, whereas the police said it was £18,000? I was hoping he'd taken some for himself.

And when she said she had no money at all, I thought they should've said they'd searched the house and found nothing. That would've driven her mad.

Autumnchill · 07/01/2021 17:44

@SoddingWeddings

"She'll have polio by the end of the week" 🤣
My favourite line 😁 along with the 'I'm really going to lose my shit'. They were all extremely patient despite clearly knowing she was taking the piss
cushioncovers · 07/01/2021 19:07

Oh the irony of her safeguarding adult also being in a wheelchair with a genuine disability of only having one leg.

Pebbledashery · 07/01/2021 20:00

Just finished watching. My god that woman was something utterly extraordinary. So glad she got 9.5 years.

EloraaDanan · 07/01/2021 20:09

Absolutely. I’ve met a few people that are scarily like Victoria Breeden. Unfortunately I have the “pleasure” of working with one and it’s uncanny, right down to the facial expressions when confronted. It’s very frustrating, demoralising and infuriating!

TokyoSushi · 07/01/2021 22:08

Late to this but love this programme. Agree this one is absolutely fascinating.

24HoursInPoliceCustody · 08/01/2021 06:35

Clearly I love this programme as my username suggests, just caught up on the last few episodes, but my god that woman was very calculated, and knew exactly what she was doing. I kind of felt very sorry for all her ex's. Evil woman.

louise4745 · 08/01/2021 09:16

If only she had met (the hyper one who got arrested) somewhere else and not at home then (then ex that went to the police) wouldn't have ever recorded her. She would still be free. Imagine how many other conversations she's had about the same thing yet those men didn't Hodgkinson to the police.

louise4745 · 08/01/2021 09:16

Go** productive text

Pebbledashery · 08/01/2021 13:44

I loved how after she was arrested she ended up on the floor.. 🤣 She was quite embarrassing.
