She didn't mention moving in, just that she would give up her job to take care of them. Could be at her house or Gray's I suppose. He works long hours so it seems to make sense, but I suppose he's rather pay someone than have Karen sniffing around and figuring out what happened to her daughter.

The Sonia and Ash thing is silly. A few episodes ago Ash saw Sonia getting upset and asked her to go for a coffee. Sonia was just about to go before she got upset and didn't but.......a family member of mine is a nurse. You CAN'T just leave your ward and go for a coffee until its break time. That can't happen!!!!
And a nurse and a dr wouldn't be having chats in and out of work. Is Sonia heading for a breakdown?

I know EE are trying to include Covid 19 but not let it take over, but the way they are doing it is very strange. The bars, shops etc are all open then they talk about the pandemic off and on. I don't suppose there is a better way of doing it though and to capture the time they need to include it. I cannot wait until we watch it in years and years to come and this is a distant memory.

Presumably Ash thought Sonia wasn't coping to the extent that she might have been more of a danger to patients than a help. In that case, couldn't she go for an unauthorised break? Just like sometimes people have to go home because they're not feeling well?

I'm surprised that Super Sonia and Kathy didn't spot that Ian is poorly. His shuffling about like someone 20 years older than he is and looks awful. If I were his mum I'd smell a rat especially as she knows Sharon isn't really in love with him.

It’s a ridiculous gaping plot hole.

1. I’m almost certain mick said at the beginning of the story that she took him to her flat. Not a house.

2. she was only 18/19 at the time of the abuse. Why would she have a big house to live in all by herself? How could she afford it on a care workers wage?

3. mick and Tina said she disappeared out of their lives. But mick knew where she lived so could have gone to her house. He was writing to her so had her address.

4. Katy said she had gotten a job far away to explain why she left.

The trouble with these covid storylines is that we're told the woeful stories by Sonia (everyone is dying) yet life is completely normal elsewhere. Covid doesn't exist outside the hospital in Eastenders.

At least the other soaps wear a mask once in a while.
