Can someone explain why a dishwasher will blunt knives ? I quite liked Tina's saying it as it is. Hopefully Monosyllabic Mick will come to her rescue and the shock will turn him back into super father/partner/ hero of the square !

I don't know why it blunts the knives. Is it the dishwasher tablets? I've got things that say "dishwasher safe" that aren't. Have gone rusty 🙄

It's the salt in the water. Same reason as some glasses turn cloudy. But it would take a lot of washing before it starts to make a noticeable difference.

Thanks spanishFly so Not worth the effort of washing them separately then, although I may take more care from now on to make sure they're pointing down !

I agree about Phil. If he hadn’t gone storming off after Keanu, the boat wouldn’t have been damaged.

....though I suppose whatever Phil did was not deliberate whereas Ian deliberately imprisoned someone. (Although Phil carrying a gun was pretty intentional),

Agreed! The most shocking thing is that they're real, very sharp knives that they're using for those scenes - seems very risky to me.

Why use real knives? Poor woman! You don't go into acting to get injured.
