Please help me name this actor. Driving me bonkers.

Ok. I think he’s Scottish. Over 60. Balding but hair a sandy/ginger/blond sort of colour. Slim, sharp features (I think)
Similar age but not either Bill Paterson or Denis Lawson. I picture him as weary and maybe as an older uniformed police officer. 😩😩😩 Any ideas?

Not me. I posted names of actors who probably aren't scottish but might be the right sort of age and had sandy hair. Some of them were terrific actors, but sadly, have now passed away.
