Please help me name this actor. Driving me bonkers.

Ok. I think he’s Scottish. Over 60. Balding but hair a sandy/ginger/blond sort of colour. Slim, sharp features (I think)
Similar age but not either Bill Paterson or Denis Lawson. I picture him as weary and maybe as an older uniformed police officer. 😩😩😩 Any ideas?

This is a picture of Gordon Jackson when he was older. There is a bit part actor who looks like this who appears in dramas etc. I wonder if that is the one? I obviously don't know name.

I think @Melange99 is right re the bit part actor. And yes, he looks a lot like Gordon Jackson does in that photo although it’s definitely not GJ I’m thinking of.

That photo of Gordon Jackson reminds me of Fyfe Robertson - but he was more of a reporter than an actor.
