He reminds me of the husband in 'sleeping with the enemy' just so cold and controlled and a bit smug

CassandrasCastle I think he was trying to be supportive without being intrusive. Not smug.

I was shouting at the tv to Dave saying ‘just help them!’ Instead he just leaves some cake boards on the stool and chugs raspberries 😂

He should probably win but I can’t watch him in follow up interviews he’s just too awkward.

I want Dave to win, but when he's sitting with his feet up , scoffing a cake, offering small kindnesses and cheery comments, it strikes me as just a tad patronising . . .

Oh he was probably trying to be helpful 🙈 It just came off patronising as fuck
