I think Bob was probably hoping that Nathan would take the drugs too - that would have given him two chances to make a ghost, and it wouldn't have left a witness that he needed to keep quiet.

I'm not sure I can agree about Bertie Carvel's acting skills - I've seen him in a few things now and I can always "see" him acting. Bob is very similar to the character he played in The Pale Horse, right down to the weird nasal voice. Perhaps he's more of a stage actor?

Can anyone explain to me a scene from Ep2 please... When Nathan turns up at the parent's house with the flowers and he and Holly go to the river, she's annoyed he's turned up at the house. She says she doesn't want to see him, 'After what you've done'... but what HAS he done? At that point as far as she's concerned all his has done is meet her for a drink!

Now Nathan has called Jacki and said he wants to speak to her about Elise... any ideas what he's going to say?

But the creepy beyond dead tape recording plus the testimony from her ex stating she was alive after the last sighting of Bob and nathan. What is that?

Anyone else think it's strange we've not actually seen any physical contact between Nathan and Holly? They're supposed to be married but they're totally social distancing!

@EdwardCullensBiteOnTheSide yeah I have mentioned this previously, they have the least convincing marriage ever! All of Nathan and Holly’s exchanges in present day are stilted and odd. In yesterday’s episode when Nathan came back from being with Bob and Holly was sat drinking a glass of wine and she kind of extended the glass out to him without really saying anything and Nathan just stared at her and then eventually took the glass and it was like the most awkward communication. I wonder if they are going to do something weird like one of them is not really there as they just don’t interact like normal people.

Nathan is very detached from Holly but I don't think any of those three are ghosts! Holly saw Bob in the first episode : she told her friend about him. You have seen Nathan in bed with her. Maybe she is still grief ridden and a bit of a cold person anyway? Only married him because she felt she couldn't trust anyone else ? He might have kept on about getting married , till she gave in? Their relationship does feel strained in that weird house though.
Bob's house is equally bleak !
Nathan only said to the policewoman he wanted to see her about Holly in order to get her to drive off away from Bob's place.
I doubt he wants to speak to her really! Too many questions.

I think Holly is the ghost of her sister

Formerbabe; could be. He ( Nathan) did make that odd speech about her welfare being important to him and Bob was surprised that she had knocked on the ex boyfriends door. He said ' I didn't know this' and seemed a bit puzzled by it as he thought she was dead by then.

For a ghost, Holly drinks an awful lot of red wine!

Yes and it's wine with ghostly properties too ! She practically drained the glass, handed it to Nathan who drank some and when he handed it back there was quire a bit in it

No, Nathan is alone. Even at his wedding or at the NYE party you didn't see him with anyone , only Bob.
I agree that the police would have searched the woods with sniffer dogs. Or a dog walker on New Year's Day would have come across something ! It does seem weird she wasn't found.

I have no idea what the ending will actually be, but I don't think that Elise is dead.
