What was the last thing you watched that made you laugh?

I have been on a bit of a medical documentary binge and realised I have no things which make me laugh.

More recent things I have liked Included what we do in the shadows (film better but series good), this country, motherland (sort of).

I don't mind a tragi-comic bent, like fleabag or nighty night (although that thing Julia Davis did for sky was erk, I was a bit wtf even though I usually like dark/weird).

Any missed gems?

Rediscovered the Vicar of Dibley with DS12. It's made us laugh like nothing else has recently!

purpleme12 · 15/10/2020 22:36

Did you see The Kemp's: All True?
Absolutely loved it
Laughed so much
And so wasn't expecting to either

Nat6999 · 15/10/2020 22:43

Spitting Image on Britbox, the new one & then watching reruns of the old ones.

hamstersarse · 15/10/2020 22:45

Mortimer & Whitehouse. Gone fishing.

It’s an absolute delight

DontGoIntoTheLongGrass · 15/10/2020 22:45

The Boys Grin the part with the dolphin and the truck. I shouldn't laugh but dh and I haven't laughed that hard in ages.

BlusteryShowers · 15/10/2020 22:46

Ghosts

BlusteryShowers · 15/10/2020 22:47

Oh and South Park. It can be juvenile but it's actually great satire as well.

MsTSwift · 15/10/2020 22:49

We hated Afterlife saw it raved about on here but we switched it off really depressing and dark

purpleme12 · 15/10/2020 22:51

It is quite dark. It's not laugh out loud funny but does have amusing moments
I loved it

BobGalaxy · 15/10/2020 22:54

Ghosts is superbly funny

GuyFawkesDay · 15/10/2020 22:54

I've been watching 'allo 'allo again on yesterday.

It's so funny. I now get all the jokes that were a mystery as a child as to why the grown ups laughed so much.

Lozz22 · 15/10/2020 22:56

White chicks on Netflix.

iklboo · 15/10/2020 22:57

Tonight's Taskmaster was hysterical.

Sidge · 15/10/2020 22:58

@DontGoIntoTheLongGrass I too laughed like a drain at that part in The Boys. There were quite a few proper laugh out loud moments.

I quite like the old stuff when I want cheering up. Blackadder, Vicar of Dibley, Harry Enfield and Chums, Men Behaving Badly.

I also am ashamed to say I find old episodes of Top Gear bloody funny too, especially the challenges.

savagebaggagemaster · 15/10/2020 22:58

Schitt's Creek - very funny
We also love Brooklyn 99 in this house.

savagebaggagemaster · 15/10/2020 23:00

Sidge YY to Top Gear Challenges. Watching those have cheered us up many a time. Laugh out loud nonsense. Grin

Toilenstripes · 15/10/2020 23:02

Snakes on a plane

Frogshoe · 15/10/2020 23:09

Peep show even though I must have watched every episode 5 times Grin

Recently started watching two doors down, love it
