Anyone waiting for This is Us season 5? Hopefully will show in UK end of October! Anyone who hasn't watched it, I would strongly recommend it!

It seems as if I'm the only person to like Randall? I get he muscles his way in and acts superior to his siblings, but there is so much pain there - I just love him. He and Beth are awesome. (Plus imo he is hotter than Kev).

Not really reading the second half of the thread properly as I don't want spoilers. Just came to say that This Is Us was my lockdown show earlier this year. I finished season 3 the day before season 4 was available (perfect timing). Now I'm just waiting for season 5 to be fully available as I prefer to binge watch. The Gilmore Girls are getting me through this lockdown for now.

are the episodes aired on Tuesdays now? I've seen that the 5x4 was there yesterday already and said released on the 17th. thought they were on Wednesdays.

So I heard they are taking a mid-season break after this - or next - week until next year as they haven't filmed it all yet.

I know they haven't been able to film with babies because of Covid, but it's just a bit weird to have Toby and Kate 1. Miles away from each other and 2. Without baby Jack. Where is he? Why aren't they worried that they've forgotten where he is? Also the triplet baby scenes this week were just a bit odd without any actual triplet babies Grin

I agree the episodes have been a bit slower this season so far

also interested to see what the Vietnamese connection will be

but given the revelation at the end of one of the episodes and Randall's public media expose, you'd think there may be something that arises from that

I thought the Vietnamese grandad had a picture of him and Randall's birth mother. He recognised William's name when Randall said it. So he would be the father of Randall's biological sibling, the parent of the fishing girl? Although given that Randall's mother "died" in the same flat William lived in for years afterwards she would have always known where to find him...

I saw the photo but I don't think I get what the connection is.

I think it's very clever the way they keep finding new bits of story/characters that somehow fit with what's gone before but if the photo is what I think it is, I think maybe this one is a step too far.

I came to this show very late and have watched the whole thing over the last few months. DH refuses to watch it "because nothing good ever happens".

@cheesecrack I thought she survived but moved on in life hence the photo, and Randall may have other siblings?

Although if she survived and William stayed in the same building, surely she'd have tried to track them down as as far as she knew, Randall was with William? I'm so confused

Just binged watched this show from the start, enjoyed it a lot, a bit boring in places and you think just get on with it but this latest twist I'm not sure about, a bit too far.

Bad enough with Jacks brother but hasn't randell been through enough?

This show is clever is showing you snippets at beginning off series, usually from the future and sucks you in as you have to watch to find out and takes a long time to reveal that teaser.
