We have been following Our Girl since 2014 and although there are to be no further series, we revisit time and time again to discuss. As an alternative, we are also watching the 1990s series of Soldier Soldier.

Yep eejit - she's happy with the idea of being with CJ and is forgetting that Smurf will misread what she is saying to him.

CJ and Molly now have a little chat on the way to meet up with the US Major Morley. The insurgent who struck Molly has been interviewed and Qaseem translates that he blames Molly for everything. Molly wants to go and talk to him herself. Morley agrees but CJ is not happy about this.

The insurgent tells her that she is responsible for tearing the family apart and that Badrai is his father. Now he speaks English - told you those pens were the cause of all the problems - handing them out willy-nilly like that, bound to corrupt a young girl!

CJ tells her that he has learned from her since he has been there. The veneer slips a bit and he talks of "We". Have you ever been to Bath? - yep certainly have. Do you know how much those houses are worth?? Won't get much change out of a few million!

Molly is now full of self doubt and says as much to CJ. She's worried about Bashira. During the discussion, CJ pulls her into his quarters and tries to reassure her.

Such a lovely scene when he talks about his home town of Bath. Yes CJ, I've seen your house on the Crescent a few times! She asks if he's inviting her there for Christmas.

Smurf turns up and CJ shoves Molly into his wardrobe. How cliched!

Off he goes in pursuit - he's cross now with himself and with her. Oh gosh he's got children too. She must feel so utterly stupid. Poor girl, she never thought for a minute that might be the case.

Smurf appears with his mother's engagement ring and wants to ask Molly to marry him. CJ must be shocked and reads him the riot act.

Oh wait! Smurf delivers a bombshell by asking CJ how he proposed to his wife. Molly is listening in the cupboard and all her worst nightmares come at once. She marches out and shouts at him for hiding the truth then finds out he has children (well, as we find out later, it's one child).

Smurf heads back to the tent and sees how upset Molly is. His answer is to get her a pizza! He takes the opportunity to comfort her when she is crying but secretly hopes he's in with a chance again!
