whats an amby nest?

hunkermunker · 02/10/2007 21:34

There's a lot to be said for wearing babies and bf on demand, imo and ime.

You can eat breakfast at the same time, for instance

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 21:34

It really annoys me the way they're pretending that breastfeeding is extreme, CV is extreme and Dr Spock is the happy medium that all sensible rational mothers would choose.

All so simplistic and bollocks.

"Of course she's doing well, she's in a routine."

ds doubled his birth weight at 11 weeks. he wasn't ina routine.

dh is now shouting at the telly.

Mossy · 02/10/2007 21:35

Although I wish I'd had someone round to tell my mil to eff off in the early days... but then again she wanted us to brew up for her all the time and sit on her arse holding ds!

Like continuum best except I do like to put ds down sometimes you know to have a wee an' that!!

coleyboy · 02/10/2007 21:35

Those newborns, their such manipulative little so and so's aren't they??!!

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 21:36

at the idea of a newborn 'playing up'.

barbamama · 02/10/2007 21:36

How can you time affection!!!!!!!

yogimum · 02/10/2007 21:36

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 21:36

WinnieThePooh · 02/10/2007 21:36

NappiesLaGore · 02/10/2007 21:36

MsHighwater · 02/10/2007 21:36

RTKangaMummy, I agree that there is no one right way to bring up a baby but there are WRONG ways, imho, and CV's is one of them, no question.

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 21:37

If there's one thing a newborn needs it's cuddles.

specialmagiclady · 02/10/2007 21:37

Newborn babies LOOKING FOR ATTENTION! As DH says, it's very important for kids to know you're not there for unconditional love!

AARGH NO CUDDLING!

Love that little Lola...
