Can't wait to see if CV is wearing joggers...

OP posts:
Mossy · 02/10/2007 21:26

Princessmel I agree, I would not let CV near my cat or dogs let alone my ds.

Elizabetth · 02/10/2007 21:27

No visitors so no-one can critice the babies being neglected and tortured. Bitch.

cleaninglady · 02/10/2007 21:27

I would have loved to see my DM's face if i said she couldnt see the baby

theUrbanDryad · 02/10/2007 21:28

Elizzabeth - think you've hit the nail on head there

Mossy · 02/10/2007 21:28

Although I have to admit the Doctor Spock woman does make a lot of sense about the no visitors unless they are there to help out!

But I wasn't on her side last week about bf in public being obscene.

theUrbanDryad · 02/10/2007 21:28

sorry, Elizabetth!

coleyboy · 02/10/2007 21:29

I understand a very small percentage of woman can't breastfeed, but that is not the case of the woman on the programme.

I think of the blissful times ds and I had whilst bf'ing, and feel sorry that those little mites won't experience it.

I also understand that people choose how to feed their babies, but it doesn't stop me from feeling sad.

I'm not judging, just expressing how I feel.

MsHighwater · 02/10/2007 21:30

I only watched the 2nd half last week but soon concluded that, with some BIG reservations, I am in the Spock camp. So far, I'm still there (with the same reservations, though)

RTKangaMummy · 02/10/2007 21:30

oke doke sorry for prejudging your comments

TheWiltedRose · 02/10/2007 21:30

spock for sure!

WinnieThePooh · 02/10/2007 21:30

I deffo agree with the Dr Spock method. I am due on Sunday, but could be any day now. My mum is arriving on Thursday and will probably not let me do a thing.

MsHighwater · 02/10/2007 21:31

Take heart. Before this series is over someone might show CV the door!

TheWiltedRose · 02/10/2007 21:31

if that CV told me to put my baby out in the garden id send her on her way with a black eye

I do strongly feel though that no "method" is right really

Just whatever is right for each family and each baby

Just enjoy the little babies while they are little and throw ALL baby books away

And join MN

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 21:32

That poor woman is in tears because her instincts are telling her to pick up her screaming babies and she's not allowed to. So who benefits? Not the mother and certainly not the babies.

theUrbanDryad · 02/10/2007 21:32

i'm really hoping facial deformity woman is gonna tell CV to fark off...

hunkermunker · 02/10/2007 21:32

That fucking woman. How CAN she forbid visitors?! Was that the twins' GRANDMOTHER who'd come to see them?!

How did CV not get a punch in the head for being so RUDE to them?!

yogimum · 02/10/2007 21:33

good luck winnie

The mum of the twins looked very distressed in that clip, why anyone would go against their own motherly instincts just to be on telly I don't know!

WinnieThePooh · 02/10/2007 21:34

thanks yogimum.

BTW, the LO will be sleeping in our room in an Amby Nest.

ledodgy · 02/10/2007 21:34

After watching this last week I informed a couple of friends that I think my parenting was closest to the Dr Seuss method then realised while they were ptsl.
