Can't wait to see if CV is wearing joggers...

OP posts:

Just catching up, but I want to agree wholeheartedly with LittleBella re: CV's method of isolating the mother from visitors - so that no-one gets a chance to point out how fucking insane and abusive this method is.

oooggs · 02/10/2007 22:07

kizzie - good point - what will the friends and familes of those twins parents think.

MamaMaiasaura · 02/10/2007 22:08

Idreamofchocolate · 02/10/2007 22:08

TheWiltedRose · 02/10/2007 22:09

hehe babbi was fast asleep upstairs but couldnt resist bringing him down for a cuddle
Just look at his face though in my pics could u resiste those eyes?????

yogimum · 02/10/2007 22:09

Idreamofchocolate, lovely pictures. my sis has two girls with the same names as yours.

MrsSeanSlater · 02/10/2007 22:09

CV's routine seems to be all about making the baby feel so unloved that it stops wanting love/attention. Those poor babies are going to grow up into cold, emotionally detached people (not unlike CV herself).

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 22:10

Honestly if it was a bloke who did it, we'd immediately recognise it as part of a continuum of domestic violence

But because it's a harridan who regimented a few dysfunctional celebrity kids, it's not recogised.

coleyboy · 02/10/2007 22:10

I did not say or imply that ff babies don't bond with their mothers.

Probably the reason you don't see a lot of women BF in public is we can do it very discreetly it's not as if you are sitting there two tits on show.

The site of those babies crying makes me feel sick I hope those parents watch the show and are thoroughly ashamed off themselves, they neglacted their newborn babies.

SleepIsForTheWeak · 02/10/2007 22:10

do you think the couples were paid to partake in this "experiment"?

hunkermunker · 02/10/2007 22:11

When does the glove-making happen? Is that in episode four then, Aitch?

Cruella de Smirkville. WTF was she DOING, sneering at those twins, sobbing?!

Snaf · 02/10/2007 22:11

"He's looking at you - NO EYE CONTACT!"

FFS.

I can't believe their families didn't answer back. And I'd love to know wtf their community midwife/HV said at the time. I know what I'd fucking say if I went round on a post-natal visit and found that 'woman' standing there in her fake uniform.

But professionalism prevents me from repeating it here

Macushla · 02/10/2007 22:12

Oh my blood pressure. Only good thing is, after watching this, no one is EVER going to pay that mad, emotionally redundant witch to tell them how to look after their babies again.

Dreena's got it SO wrong about bf in public.

Why on EARTH do ADULTS mind seeing the occasional flash of boob (if at all)? Are their needs really so much more important than the baby's? Really?

hunkermunker · 02/10/2007 22:13

Ohhhhhhhhh, Snaf, I'd pay to see you find CV in a new mum's house...

LittleBella · 02/10/2007 22:13

This is what I wonder - where were their HV's, their GP's, the professionals who would advise them that what they're doing is neglect?

hunkermunker · 02/10/2007 22:14

Cruella de Vil, KM - CV's been likened to her and seems happy with the label (she's repeated it herself). But Cruella de Vil made gloves out of puppy skins.
