It’s funny watching Ryan and Aliyah keeping 2 metres apart on screen but in the show theyre a couple who live together so don’t actually have to stay apart

Paula Wilcox is a good actor. I'm glad they've got her doing this part.

Whereas Tim & Abbi are a real life couple so could be right beside each other on screen but their characters couldnt

On the other hand, great to see a Paula Wilcox as Geoff's ex wife. Also loved the 'Covid spatial distancing dance' they did in the Kabin - very realistic.

I don’t know, I have never been able to stand his voice so I zone out when he is on screen.

Yes! There's a shop not far from me small like that, and I hang around outside wondering if there's anyone in there (limit of 2) and when I go in I'm always dancing round someone because lots of elderly people go there and I worry about being too close!

Its funny that they have people in the background with masks on but Aliyah wasn’t made to put one on when she absolutely would be in real life. But it would muffle all her speech.

For some reason I always assumed Tim's mother left when he was about twelve or in his teens. It seems odd he's never mentioned the fact that Geoff brought him up on his own.

Agree about the awful acting of the builder dad.

Yes, he did imply that, I'd forgotten. They've not really thought it through.

Yes, who actually is supposed to have brought Tim up, because Geoff certainly wouldn't have done on his own. Maybe we'll now get a new and bizarre retro-history of Tim's childhood that no-one ever mentioned before, not even when he was being a shit dad / reformed dad to Faye.

Actually it's annoying me a bit, given the previous strength of the characterisations and acting.
