Couldn't see a new thread so started this one. So we're now into a show of two halves, edited together - pre and post lockdown! Who's shouting "before" "after" at each scene?

I’ve had a google and yes it was just a reference to how wildlife has been more noticeable in urban areas due to fewer people.

The goth girl also mentioned goats taking over a Welsh town (I think she did anyway, I tune in and out..)

There were stories back during lockdown of wildlife blooming in quieter city streets. Think the animals were a reference to that.

What was going on with Adam.s hair?

Just watched it on catch up, really appreciated the covid references. And the animal references were funny!

Did I blink and imagine it, but did Elaine (the possible exwife of Geoff) be hovering around the street?

Oh is that why he was going on about otters!! I wondered why the heck they’d put that in!

Yes ex Geoff lady kicked Ryan's bucket. All the Geoffs in the dream was terrifying.

That's very philosophical!

I thought it was done well, and was a good episode, but Gary losing it with Brian and the metal detector was very over the top, and did he really think no one ever thought of going to the woods since he killed Rick.

I hope Yasmeen will be ok and get her day in court, if Geoff gets off I'll be disgusted.

I'm liking fewer episodes.

Me too. It’s easier to catch up and you would hope that fewer episodes mean less need to spin storylines out until we’re all weeping with boredom.

Am I the only one who noticed Rick's watch at the end? Did it come off in the fight? Surely he hasn't decomposed that quick?!

Ryan is a real wee duckling, I hope he marries aaliyah and they have lovely babies and a happy life.

I'm glad it looks like the rick/Gary story line is coming to a head by the look of that watch! Gary really annoys me

I’ve been reading this thread far too much, I had a dream last night about Adam Barlow! Only went as far as kissing but my goodness he was a good kisser!!

I bet you didn't want to wake up! I never get lucky in my dreams!

Honestly I’ve never really thought him attractive but hmmm I think I may have changed my mind!!

Had a Corrie catch up last night.

Where did the watch come from? In all the months that has passed are we to believe nobody has been in those woods and spotted a watch lying around? Or has Gary now dug up the body and the watch came off? It was a weird scene him chasing Brian and Gemma’s mum in the van.

Where is Daniel getting the money to pay for the cardi wearing escort? Where do his family think he is going while they look after Bertie? He doesn’t have any friends apart from Adam or seem to work so he can hardly say he is going for a pint with a mate. I just don’t get the point of the story? The scenes are pretty boring.

Glad to see things are moving along with Yasmeen, the dream sequence was so creepy. The actors have been fantastic, I really hate Geoff!

I think Daniel is now putting the Cardi Escort (who I now think of as 'Cardi E') charges his credit card.

Which obviously Peter will find out about, and assume it's gambling. And Daniel will blurt out, 'Don't be ridiculous, it's for an escort.' And there will be Much Disappointment With Daniel yet again on the cobbles.

And Bethany's supreme sacrifice will all have been for nothing.

Yes I think we are to assume Gary has dug Rick up and the watch was left behind on the surface. I thought rick was in the back of Gary’s van but Gary was really adamant that Bernie and Brian we’re not to go back to the woods so I wonder if he didn’t get him fully dug up? But then surely Bernie and Brian would have seen the body/grave? Or maybe Gary buried him somewhere else in the woods but that would be pointless as he couldn’t tell where anyone would be looking with their metal detectors.

Last week Adam offered Daniel a job doing the admin work for the solicitors’ office. He said it wasn’t fair for Daniel to be using Ken’s money to go out drinking with his uni buddies. (Which is who Daniel said he has been meeting up with) So I’m guessing ken is supporting daniel and there must be enough to pay an escort £150/hour.

I’m wondering how covid will affect Oliver’s storyline. Presumably he is in the shielding category so we won’t see him (at all?) or Leanne outside of their flat. I’m already fed up of seeing that flat so really don’t relish the idea of seeing more of it.

I hope Daniel will sort himself out, I thought the retreat was going to sort him out? Cardi lady is nice though.
Would Gary have moved the body? What state would it be in, I have no idea when the murder was.
