Comedy drama that shines a light on the day-to-day life of a family looking after their severely learning disabled nine-year-old girl, Rosie.

It flicks from 2007 and born and 2017 life 10yrs later and parents getting answers

Worth seeing s1 if haven’t seen it but can watch and follow if haven’t

I know it was poignant but I just love how they are a normal couple ,they make mistakes and fuck up ,and use dark humour ,Simon calling Rosie Darwin's mistake was it ? I know people would probably wince but you have to do what you have to do to get through ,they clearly love her to bits as we do with our child but none of are perfect most parents with severely disabled children are just muddling through.

Sorry to be late to the party, I only caught up with the final episode last night. The episode annoyed me, I felt as though they got a number of things wrong in this one (but not the bit with the brother). Anyone with children in the car surely uses the child locks all the time, even if their children are not learning disabled?

Yes I thought the same @EggsyMom,,and I always sit in the back with ds as he would attempt to grab the wheel given half the chance .

I was surprised by that too, you can get special seatbelts for the car can’t you?

I love this series it is the best portrayal of coping with severe learning disability in a family i have ever seen and its my family life I mean i swear its like someone spied on us !
