Help with identifying a Location Location Location episode please

Chatting with DH earlier about our favourite LLL episode & would love to find it on YouTube or All4 but need help please. Involves a couple with quite a large budget looking for a quiet property. Phil & Kirstie showed them a really nice family house (road noise - few cars visible on the road from the long driveway) A barn conversion (can hear a car - camera pans over fields to show 1 vehicle in the distance). P & K get snippy with them as they’re showing them houses that fit the brief the couple asked for. Show ends with P & K visiting the couple’s new house they bought after the show ended. It was close to a busy road & access was through a car park, possibly a pub car park. I just want to rewatch it for the look on Kirstie’s face when she sees the place they ended up buying.

Does anyone remember the young couple who moved from a flat in London to a massive Scottish house and were planing on running it as a holiday home?

Think they were the very first Relocation couples?

He was a potter and wanted to build a studio. The house they ended up buying was stunning!

I often wonder if they made a go of the business.

Yes I just watched it last night! I’ve decided to watch all of season 1 as I’m really enjoying the nostalgia.

I started off thinking this couple were biting off more than they could chew but by the end I felt they had a decent chance of making a go of it. I’m not sure about the pottery (bowls made of string seemed to feature heavily) but they had lots of potential for rental/ guesthouse use.

Not sure but I think I vaguely remember a revisited episode somewhere featuring this couple.

Yes - there was a revisit! I remember they'd had a baby and she'd grown her hair long ( she had a pixie cut in the first episode!)

I watched the first ever Location, Location, Location on the back of this thread. Kirstie has a pudding bowl haircut and it's all far more 'serious factual' programme.

I just googled the potter guy from episode 1 and he's now working out of Brighton. His work has vastly improved, but I guess they moved away again or split up?

That house was an absolute dream, and they had tons of plans for a studio and to develop the smaller house to live in. I wonder what became of that house? As soon as I win the lottery I plan to buy it ☺️

I have just watched the one the OP talks about. Love Phil at the end mentioning the road twice. That was a very busy road.

You can see why P and K get so annoyed, higher budget and completely different to the brief they were given. No road noise, and yet they buy that over looking a garage area from their tiny patio.

Then they sold it 10 months later 🤷‍♀️

I could be wrong but from something I read a while ago I got the impression that she had remarried and still lives in the area and runs the house and a studio selling contemporary Scottish crafts.

Mansfield house, that’s it alright. They’re probably going to wonder why they have a sudden spike of hits on their website

Ooh, I've just had a nosey. She's definitely remarried. Glad she's still there, that house is amazing.

Did anyone see last nights with the awful Hayley !! She was ghastly so fussy they had been searching for a house for 9 months I can see why! Her poor long suffering partner just went along with everything she said.

Henryk and Vicky, were Unbelievable! no garden at all!

I'm glad it was not just me thinking she was difficult. I couldn't put my finger on it. A kind of self entitlement- she annoyed me a bit but then she'd row back a little and I'd think she wasn't too bad.
The first house was too small for the two of them
I thought the other couple were lovely. Their house was lovely too.

Last night’s was a treat - such a contrast between the couples.

Yes I saw yday and was when she said they'd definitely have to do the (perfectly reasonable, if slightly dated) kitchen before they moved in, with house 2. And I felt the husband really liked house 4 and was quite enthusiastic about it , but she gave it a definite no and that was the end of it!

I loved the barn conversion the nice couple bought. I can't believe what was rejected by the other couple.

That first house was perfect for two of them.

I hadn't realised it was a repeat.
The couples were slammed when it was first broadcast in 2019.
I wonder what Hayley and Hayley eventually bought ? Does anyone know ?

Currently watching Hendrick & Vicky episode. They really are a piece of work! I’m waiting for them to add “a golden unicorn” to their wish list. And Vick seems to be quite dismissive of Kirstie.
