Hope I haven’t jumped the gun, but the old thread was getting quite full.

I’ve just been browsing the
www.bigcommunitysew.co.uk/
and trying to work out what sewing machines they were using at home. I always do that when a magazine has a feature about one if the contestants.
I think Therese has the same Juki machine as I have and she’s also got the mini quilter too. Lucky lass.

Also, do you think that maybe either Therese or that slightly annoying bloke Peter might have won this year as they also have Juliet, the winner from the last series in this group?

How did Clare beat Nicole when Clare's had problems with the fastening

Peter looks like he's wearing something he made in the transformation challenge out of an old suit.

I honestly thought that both Nicole and Clare would have been in a shared first.

Nicole was robbed there. Hers was much better than Claire's even to my untrained eye.

Patrick has been digging in my drawers! I wondered where my nightie had gone to.

Lots of fabric in the pyjamas and nightie.

Nicole was very gracious about it.

Cue lots of mismatched skirts

I thought Claire's basque looked smoother but it was a close call.

Patrick is always welcome to dig in my drawers!

So much fabric. Someone has to do something voluminous.

Oooh my post this morning about a nightdress and pyjamas being the transformation challenge wasn't far wrong

Nicole's dungarees idea actually sounds as though it might result in a wearable garment.

Ah but her dungarees might be viewed as insufficiently transformational.

Liz's looks a bit too simple and not too transformed.

That print Clare got is ghastly

I'd wear the dungarees but they might say she hasn't changed it enough.

Dungarees look great!

Nicole's looks like an actual outfit.

I didn't notice there was a blouse too. I think Nicole's is best. Definitely.
